Is this a dream? I’m dreaming, right? Quentin Tarantino is about to beam up to the ‘Star Trek‘ franchise and that’s not joke. Tarantino, who is a big fan of all films, came up with a ‘Star Trek‘ storyline for a new film and talked with JJ Abrams about it. Abrams liked it so much, because why wouldn’t he, and the two have started to assemble a writer’s room who will knock out a big script based on Tarantino’s idea.

Hey guys, Jana here,

Quentin Tarantino brings so many things to mind, first and foremost, a kick-ass movie with top notch acting. Such is what I hope continues for the director as he is said to be tackling his first true-crime project on the Manson Family murders.

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

We finally have a good long trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s new film ‘The Hateful Eight‘, and boy does it look amazing. Then again, what Tarantino film isn’t amazing? I hope Tarantino never stops making films. Official Synopsis: In THE HATEFUL EIGHT, set six or eight or twelve years after the Civil War, a stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. The passengers, bounty hunter John Ruth (Russell) and his fugitive Daisy Domergue (Leigh), race towards the town of Red Rock where Ruth, known in these parts as “The Hangman,” will bring Domergue to justice.

Tarantino Unveils Cast for ‘The Hateful Eight’!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Nov 6th, 2014

Hey guys, Jana here,

U7Lm7qscRB

Quentin Tarantino has given us small slivers of information about his newest undertaking. We first knew it would be a Western and that it was titled ‘The Hateful Eight‘. The director held a table read of the script in a rough format for 1,200 of his fans willing to pay the $100 cover charge. The most ardent Tarantino fans savored the onslaught of information, we speculated on the cast and we held our breath for more. The iconic director has given us the cast, and the film gods rejoiced, ok – I rejoiced.

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

Higgy Productions is bringing a Quentin Tarantino tribute to the stage in the form of an AWESOME burlesque show that will have the beautiful ladies of Texas perform their routines in the style of Tarantino films. This badass show is called ‘Pulp Friction‘ and I’m sure you will see people dressed up as every character Tarantino thought up along with some excellent music.

“The D is silent.” In some excellent news, Quentin Tarantino is partnering up with Dynamite Entertainment and DC Entertainment to publish a comic book that pairs up Django and Zorro. Django has already been in the comic book realm when the film came out, but now he’s coming back. Tarantino himself will co-write the series with Reginald Hudlin and Matt Wagner and is scheduled to hit comic book shelves late this year. I’m excited to see where this leads, as all 3 collaborators are known for risky moves and thinking outside the box (no one more so than Tarantino). And both outlaws should be well represented by that kind of thinking.

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

the-hateful-eight-poster

I’m glad everyone has calmed down now. Back a few months ago, Quentin Tarantino announced that he would be making a new BADASS film called ‘The Hateful Eight‘, which we reported on. Unfortunately, a website called ‘Gawker’ got a hold of the script somehow and posted the entire thing online for anyone and everyone to read. Well, that really pissed off Tarantino as it should and he filed a lawsuit against the website and said he would not make the film. Well I’m glad that was said under high tempers and nobody really meant it, because that would really suck if we didn’t get a new Tarantino movie.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Levon-Biss_Quentin-Tarantino_071212-2890_V1

This is some real unfortunate news. Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has decided to forgo making his new upcoming film ‘The Hateful Eight‘, which was supposed to be a badass western movie. The reason being is that one of the few people he let read the script, leaked it out to everyone in the world. This is a big “NO NO” in the business, and whomever leaked this out should definitely be fired and never trusted.

Hi, Bryan Here….

lb-kill-bill-quad

Quentin Tarantino has just announced that he will be returning to the blood spattered bride saga with ‘Kill Bill‘ Volume 3 and 4. Tarantino is hot off the press tour junkets and award ceremonies for his recent successful ‘Django Unchained‘ film. He said that he is going to take a couple of months to decompress then jump right into pre-production of the next two ‘Kill Bill‘ films.

Hi, Bryan Here….

I cannot wait to see Tarantino’s new film.  It looks like a lot of fun.  And it has such an amazing cast.  “Set in the South two years before the Civil War, Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago. Django and Schultz’s search ultimately leads them to Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), the proprietor of “Candyland,” an infamous plantation. Exploring the compound under false pretenses, Django and Schultz arouse the suspicion of Stephen (Samuel L. Jackson), Candie’s trusted house slave.”  Enjoy the trailer.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Good news for your Tarantino fans out there.  Actually, I don’t know whether to be happy or angry about this.  Lionsgate and Miramax are releasing a big Tarantino movie set on bluray on November 20th.  It will contain 8 films and two bonus discs.  This kind of sucks, because I imagine most of us already own all of these on bluray already individually.  Now we have to purchase all of these again.  And, why are the ‘Kill Bill’ films not in one film like we have been promised for years now.  I will admit, the artwork is cool from MondoTees, but I can’t justify purchasing this, for two extra bonus discs.  These look to be the same blurays that we already have.  And why did they not wait till next year to release this, so they could include ‘Django Unchained’?    Official press release below.

Hi, Bryan Here….

There was a ‘Django Unchained’ panel today at Comic-Con where Quentin Tarantino talked about his upcoming film.  He said there was a character named Brunhilde von Shaft played by Kerry Washington, which in his mind is an ancestor of John Shaft.  That prompted Tarantino to start singing the theme song to ‘Shaft’.

Hi, Bryan Here…

December is only half a year away which means we get a new Tarantino film and all seems right in the world.  “With the help of his mentor, a slave-turned-bounty hunter sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner.”  This looks so fucking good.  I can’t wait.  Such a phenomenal cast.  Enjoy the trailer and count down the days.  Opens in theaters December 25, 2012.

The Bishop Charlotte Reporting….

Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) is almost positive to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s new spaghetti Western Django Unchained. He’ll have to work out some scheduling issues, but the man seems pretty determined. If he manages it, he’ll be back alongside Leonardio DiCaprio (as before, I do not need to tell you what else he’s in), Jamie Foxx (Ray), Samuel L. Jackson (oh, please), Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds), Don Johnson (Machete), and Kurt Russell (Escape from New York, back in the day).

Hi Bryan Here….

We posted a story earlier in the week that Kevin Costner has dropped out of Tarantino’s Western, ‘Django Unchained’ and how Costner should have kept in it.  You can read the story HERE.  Well it looks like Kurt Russell (yes, Jack Burton and Snake Plissken) will replace Costner as the bad guy.

Hi Bryan Here….

Hi Bryan Here….

Kevin Costner has just joined Quentin Tarantino’s Spaghetti Western ‘Django Unchained’.  He is set to play a character named Ace Woody.  “He’s the sadistic trainer of the male fighting slaves who entertain the white patrons of Candyland as well as the female slaves who are forced to be prostitutes.”  This is a different role for Costner as he will be more of the villain than the good guy.  Plus, I think this will re-vitalize Costner’s career in a good way.  I already can’t wait to see this film.

Hi Bryan Here….

So we all know Tarantino’s new project is called ‘Django Unchained’ and it promises to be one kick-ass fucking film.  Well according to Box Office Mojo, the film will open on Christmas Day in 2012.  Now that is one hell of a Hanukkah gift.  Not to mention, we will get another Lord of the Rings film being the first Hobbit film by Peter Jackson in December of 2012 as well.  Total geekgasm all over me.
