‘Flight of the Conchords’ are coming back to HBO!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jan 11th, 2018

In the daytime of the night, Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, who make up the duo that is the hilarious ‘Flight of the Conchords‘ are coming back to HBO for a one-hour special of music and comedy later this year. The comedic pair will perform new and old songs on their upcoming comedy tour, which will be filmed in front of a sold out audience in the UK. This is just excellent news and I hope the two will have future specials and even a new show after the success of this upcoming one. I wonder if there will be a new Bowie song or a sequel to ‘Business Time’. I hope so.

Hi everyone, Bryan here….

There’s a new movie coming out called Brad’s Status that stars Ben Stiller in what seems to be a dramatic role for the comedic actor. I’d say this performance has award nomination all over it, which has me gushing with excitement over Stiller. I’ve always been a big fan of Stiller and he’s proven he’s a brilliant director and can sell performances all over the spectrum. There was a run of movies that seemed like the same schtick over and over, but this film looks very good and has a ton of heart. I just hope the whole film is as good as this trailer, even though it looks to show the entire movie in it. I wish Hollywood would stop doing this.

Enjoy the first trailer for ‘The BFG’!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 9th, 2015

Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

screen-shot-2015-12-09-at-9-37-12-am

The BFG‘ trailer has arrived and looks quite good. This is a Steven Spielberg project, based on the Roald Dahl book of the same name. The BFG stands for Big Friendly Giant if you were unaware. The trailer is a tiny bit scary and mysterious, but looks like a fun adventure. Mark Rylance (‘Bridge of Spies‘) plays the giant with Rebecca Hall, Bill Hader, Jemaine Clement and Ruby Barnhill starring in the film. I can’t wait for this one. ‘The BFG’ opens July 1st 2016. Enjoy.

Taylor Reviews ‘Men In Black 3’!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on May 25th, 2012

Taylor Here….

I was worried about Men in Black III.  Almost every minute of Men and Black II made me wish I’d snuck in a beer or six, and I don’t think I could take more disappointment from Will Smith.  I still haven’t fully forgiven him for Hancock. The third installment turned out to be about 1000% better than the second effort, chock full of witty one-liners, truly disgusting alien encounters, and a few good men who look damn fine in black suits and skinny ties.

Bryan Reviews ‘Men In Black 3’!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on May 23rd, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here….

I was very apprehensive about seeing the third installment of ‘Men In Black’.  I really loved the first film back in 1997.  I was sixteen at the time and remembered how much fun the original film was and what magical characters and comedy it brought audiences worldwide.  Then came the second installment of Men In Black in 2002 which was dull, boring, dialed in, and lacked any real good memories or fun.  I thought that the franchise was done.  That is until I saw ‘Men In Black 3’.   ‘Men In Black 3’ easily makes us remember what we loved about the original film and brings back those elements and even improves on them.  I can see future  ‘Men In Black’ films in the future if they keep this good work up.
