We have a very fun 56th episode of our fun podcast under the MULTI-MEDIA MEN banner called ‘Media-Ocrity‘, where the show is just – okay. Here on the show, we focus strictly on horror/sci-fi, comic books, and video games – basically all the fun stuff that tickles your fancy. In our 56th episode, titled ‘3 Witches in Disneyland‘, we talk about Stephen King movies and television shows for the Halloween season, the Hocus Pocus remake, visiting Disneyland, and more. D23 gave us some news today that will have all the live-action fans among us cheering. Disney has officially found their three main leads for the live-action ‘Aladdin‘! Mena Massoud (TV series ‘Jack Ryan‘) will be taking on the titular role of Aladdin, Naomi Scott (‘Power Rangers‘) will play Princess Jasmine, and Will Smith (‘Suicide Squad‘)will be giving life to the Genie.

Hi everyone, Bryan here….

It looks like Disney is releasing more in 4K UHD since they announced their first 4K release with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 the other day. I expect the flood gates to open up real soon, which means, Pixar, 2D animated classics, Marvel, and LucasFilm releases will be coming out in 4K. Bittersweet news, I know. Sweet, because it will look amazing in 4K finally. Bitter, because the wallet will take a big hit. Expect to purchase the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales‘ in 4K UHD on October 3rd with the digital version releasing on September 19th.

Disney’s epic film ‘The Lion King‘ created die hard fans of all ages and those fans keep introducing their kids to it which means there are millions of fans out there hungry for more animated antics. Disney movies are a hallmark of most of our childhoods and they were awesome, but nothing more than an animated break from reality in an air conditioned theater. For one child with autism they appeared as a lifeline helping him cope and connecting him to a world he doesn’t understand. In ‘Life, AnimatedOwen Suskind is the focus of the story and in this documentary we get an up-close look at Owen’s life as a young boy to the young man he is now, getting ready to live in his own apartment. One thing that is guaranteed about this doc – there will be tears.
