Stephen Colbert Will Take Over ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’!
Hi, Bryan Here…
CBS has wasted no time in replacing David Letterman on ‘The Late Show‘, since Letterman announced his retirement last week. They asked Stephen Cobert of the ‘Colbert Report‘ on Comedy Central to take the reigns to which Colbert accepted. Colbert inked a five-year deal to take over the show, which has been on the air since 1993.

The ‘Downton Abbey’ Cast Spoofs ‘Breaking Bad’ on the ‘Colbert Report’!!!
Stephen Colbert Will Have A Cameo in Peter Jackson’s ‘The Hobbit’!!!
Hi, Bryan Here…
The host of Comedy Central’s ‘Colbert Report’, Stephen Colbert has been a huge fan of J.R.R. Tolkien and his work for a long time. Colbert has mentioned his fandom about Tolkien’s works on his Comedy Central show for years now. Well, it looks like Mr. Peter Jackson has made one of his dreams come true. A source close to the project has confirmed that Jackson has added Mr. Colbert to the film trilogy, however it won’t be the upcoming ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’, which is set to release December 14 of this year.
*UPDATE* ‘The Colbert Report’ Suddenly Suspends Taping For A Week For Reasons Unknown!!!
Hi Bryan Here….
If you’re like me and you watch ‘The Daily Show’ and ‘The Colbert Report’ nightly, then yesterday you probably noticed a re-run of ‘The Colbert Report’. Ticket holders for the show were notified and told that the show was suspended for the rest of the week due to “unforeseen circumstances”. This is not something that happens hardly at all over at Comedy Central. The two times this has happened with ‘The Daily Show’ was once when John Stewart’s baby was born, and the other time was the sudden death of a crew member. And even then, the show went on the next day and was not suspended for a week.
Theatre Review: The Second City Summer Blockbuster!
It’s been over a decade since I last saw The Second City live. If you remember correctly, The Second City is the hilarious comedy enterprise that started a several decades ago in Chicago. It was the highlight for comedy and comedians to enhance and perform their sketch comedy and improv. Since the inception of The Second City, many talented entertainers have started there, including Bill Murray, Tina Fey, John Candy, Steve Carrell, Amy Poehler, Stephen Colbert, and many others.
Beka’s Film Review: ‘Gringo’!
Gringo is a really fun film that wasn’t on my radar until I saw Joel Edgerton on a late night show and I’m so glad I did. Fresh off Red Sparrow, I saw him on Colbert and discovered he is hotter than you imagine, because he is Australian and also he has this other film, Gringo, which p.s., his brother Nash Edgerton directed. The cast is brimming with stars that are A listers and people that shine despite their lack of name recognition. Edgerton plays corporate dick, Richard Rusk, who is sleeping with everyone and has a general disregard for everything unless it benefits him. Charlize Theron plays Elaine Markinson, a rough woman “working” her way to the top who knows how to get what she wants. The standout however is David Oyelowo, who plays Harold Soyinka, a middle-management nobody whose life is crumbling at the hands of the two players above.

Jon Stewart Announces His Departure from ‘The Daily Show’!!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here….
There are only a few things that have remained consistent over the past couple of decades. Death, taxes, a good horror movie every few months, chocolate chip cookies, and the brilliance and comedy from Jon Stewart’s ‘Daily Show‘ on Comedy Central. For the last 17 years, Stewart has hosted a half hour comedy new program that quickly became one of the top news sources in the country.
‘In The Heat of the Night’ Adaptation Heads To Showtime!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
TV has been mining their company film vaults for movies that will lend themselves easily adaptable for long-term series fare. There have been countless movies that are being bastardized and the announcements just keep coming. This news is just a little different. Instead of the patented approach of movie to series, this move is a little different due to it being a film, that was already made into a series and now will be re-invented once again.

Hi everyone, Bryan Here….
The 2014 Emmy Awards were last night and it seems like some of our favorite shows won. ‘Breaking Bad’, ‘Fargo‘, ‘True Detective‘, ‘Veep‘, ‘Sherlock‘, and Sarah Silverman all received awards. Congratulations to all of the winners and for your enjoyment, the entire list of winners are below.
2012 Emmy Award Winners!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
Below is the list of the winners for the 2012 Prime-Time Emmy Award Winners. I don’t see how ‘Modern Family’ and ‘Two and Half Men’ win anything. They shouldn’t win any kind of award when they go up against shows like ‘Mad Men’, ‘Game of Thrones’, and ‘Breaking Bad’. The Emmy judges need to be fired and never allowed to pick winners ever again. However, much congratulations to ‘Homeland’, ‘Downton Abbey’, Aaron Paul, ‘Veep’, and ‘American Horror Story’

Hi, Bryan Here…
The 2012 Emmy nominations are in and if you take notice, there are tons of HBO series, FX’s ‘American Horror Story’, ‘Mad Men’, and Downton Abbey lead the nominations. Congrats to all, and it’s very cool to see a series like ‘American Horror Story’ get so many award nominations.
