Blu-ray Review: ‘Atomic Blonde’!
THE FILM
This film portion is written by Dan Moran.
Atomic Blonde isn’t a perfect movie. It has an overly complex plot and is about 20 minutes longer than it needs to be, but all of that is overcome by some of the best action sequences in recent memory with an absolutely badass performance by Charlize Theron.

Film Review #2: ‘Deadpool 2’!
Dan Moran’s Top 12 Movies of 2017 Plus Extras!
I saw 75 movies this year and I still have 3-4 left to finish up over the next few weeks. I haven’t seen The Post, Call Me By Your Name, or Phantom Thread yet. Phantom Thread is the only regret I have but it doesn’t come out until mid-January and I like to finish my list before first week of January ends. A few special awards before my top 12.
Dan Moran’s Favorite Movie Moments from 2017!
This isn’t a Top 10 List. I have a few more movies to check off before I can make that list but I wanted to share some of the moments that wowed me on screen this year.

Film Review: ‘American Assassin’!
Dan M. here…
You can’t make an action movie like this in 2017 and expect anyone to be impressed with it. Not when studios crank out Bourne, Bond, John Wick, Atomic Blonde, The Raid, etc. Those are movies that execute things at such a high level with passable stories that at least allow you to buy into the character. Hell, even Jack Reacher had some self-awareness to it that made the shrug-worthy, ridiculous, sequel mildly enjoyable. American Assassin is an all-around pretty bad movie but it does have a few bright spots. It honestly felt like the writers watched a Bourne movie, then got high, and played 3 hours of Call of Duty on easy difficulty before putting pen to paper.
