Hey guys, Jana here,

001-3

Walton Goggins is an incredibly talented actor and he shows his total commitment to whatever project he’s working on, at the time. Was he the lynch-pin character to Quentin Tarantino’s ‘The Hateful Eight‘? Was he the beautiful and convincing Venus Van Damme on ‘Sons of Anarchy‘? I could go on all day long about what makes Goggins a fantastic actor, but I think I’ll just cut tot he chase and tell you about his newest project.

We’ve got the latest trailer for ‘Tomb Raider’!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Jan 18th, 2018

Hey guys, Jana here,

It’s a new year and we’re a few days closer to the debut of the ‘Tomb Raider‘ reboot which will hit theaters March 16. The film comes from Norwegian film director Roar Uthaug (‘The Wave‘, ‘Escape‘), while the screenplay comes from screenwriters Alastair Siddons (‘Trespass Against Us‘), and Geneva Robertson-Dworet. Her credits include some pretty big up and coming flicks like a ‘Dungeons & Dragons‘ film, ‘Captain Marvel‘, ‘Gotham City Sirens‘, and ‘M.A.S.K.: Mobile Armored Strike Kommand‘.

To carry out the visions of these filmmakers, they’ve brought an amazing cast on board. Alicia Vikander will take over the Lara Croft role, with Kristin Scott Thomas, Hannah John-Kamen, Walton Goggins, and Dominic West all lending their talents to this big-screen spectacle.

Enjoy the trailer for Season 2 of Vice Principals!

by Gumbercules9000 on Aug 16th, 2017

Hi everyone, Bryan here….

There’s a new trailer for HBO’s 2nd and final season of Vice Principals, which will premiere on HBO September 17th. This season looks completely insane. When we left season one, somebody with a mask on, shot Danny McBride, as he and Walton Goggins were on a mission to get the current Principal kicked out of school. It was a cliff-hanger to say the least.

Hey guys, Jana here,

Vice-Principals-Danny-McBride-c-Jason-LaVeris-FilmMagic-860x450_c

Danny McBride and Walton Goggins co-star in a new HBO series where the pair play vice principals. The twist comes when these star VP’s discover the top spot in their workplace heirarchy is available – that of principal. That brings out the ugly sense of competition between these two and the power play is upped in the extreme.

When Quentin Tarantino casts a movie, he pulls out all the stops and fills the project with Hollywood’s A-List, and ‘The Hateful Eight‘ is no exception. The project brought together some Tarantino favorites and some new to his work. Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Bruce Dern are the top-billed names and they make a fantastic ensemble that make up ‘The Hateful Eight‘ and you can bring it home on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and On Demand on March 29, 2016.

Film Review: ‘American Ultra’!

by Gumbercules9000 on Aug 19th, 2015

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

american-ultra-jesse-eisenberg-600x414

This late summer movie ‘American Ultra‘ mixes a good stoner comedy with high octane action with a great cast and some decent laughs throughout. You can add to that a good amount of bloody violence in the second half of things. That all being said, ‘American Ultra‘ seems to lose its steam far from the climax of the movie, and seems to just go through the motions until the end. Still, it’s a fun popcorn film to end the summer on. Director Nima Nourizadeh, whose only previous film was the found footage party movie, ‘Project X‘, leaves the handheld camera on the table here, and delivers some decent long shots of violence and action, which is a step up in his career.

Hey guys, Jana here,

american-ultra-poster-final

American Ultra‘ is a new take on the “sleeper” government operative. We’ve all seen the housewife activated to blow her best friend apart, we’ve seen the normal and usual suspects for a sleeper op and even though we know they can be anyone, sometimes the person they end up being is even more surprising to the inactive op themselves. Enter Mike Howell, your local stoner who just happens to be a mind-altered sleeper with some crazy skills. So well trained, he’s marked a liability and targeted for extermination. He’s just a bit more well-trained than anyone can handle.

Tarantino Unveils Cast for ‘The Hateful Eight’!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Nov 6th, 2014

Hey guys, Jana here,

U7Lm7qscRB

Quentin Tarantino has given us small slivers of information about his newest undertaking. We first knew it would be a Western and that it was titled ‘The Hateful Eight‘. The director held a table read of the script in a rough format for 1,200 of his fans willing to pay the $100 cover charge. The most ardent Tarantino fans savored the onslaught of information, we speculated on the cast and we held our breath for more. The iconic director has given us the cast, and the film gods rejoiced, ok – I rejoiced.

Hi, Bryan Here….

There was a ‘Django Unchained’ panel today at Comic-Con where Quentin Tarantino talked about his upcoming film.  He said there was a character named Brunhilde von Shaft played by Kerry Washington, which in his mind is an ancestor of John Shaft.  That prompted Tarantino to start singing the theme song to ‘Shaft’.

Bryan Enjoys The ‘Straw Dogs’ Remake!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Sep 16th, 2011

Hi Bryan Here….

Once I heard of the news that Sam Peckinpah’s 1971 film ‘Straw Dogs’ was getting remade, I was completely skeptical.  It was going to take one hell of a cast a crew to fill Peckinpah’s and Dustin Hoffman’s shoes.  I honestly didn’t think it could be done, but alas I think Peckinpah would be proud of this modern day re-telling of his work from Gordon Williams’ novel, ‘The Siege of Trencher’s Farm’.  Now the remake has its flaws, but everything from the original is mostly seen in this remake.  For fans of the original or for people new to the story, I definitely think you will enjoy all the brutal and barbaric images portrayed in this remake of ‘Straw Dogs’.

Jack Sparrow:
You know, for having such a bleak outlook on pirates you are well on your way to becoming one: sprung a man from jail, commandeered a ship of the fleet, sailed with a buccaneer crew out of Tortuga, and you're completely obsessed with treasure.
