Hey guys, Jana here,

charmed_again_by_oved011again-d45w4w1-1

If you loved late 90’s TV shows from the WB, more particularly, if you got your kicks watching a trio of witches on said network, you’re probably a fan of ‘Charmed‘. If this is you, was 8 seasons really enough? The CW is answering that question with a resounding “NO!” Plans are in the works to reboot the series in all its magical, fantastic splendor.

Riverdale‘, the CW series that will bring the Archie comics to life has cast two of the four main characters, Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones. The series will be a subversive take on Archie, Betty, Veronica, and their friends, exploring the surrealism of small town life – the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale’s wholesome facade.

Hey guys, Jana here,

2016 is the 75th anniversary of Archie Comics. Drink that in – 75 years makes Archie the world’s oldest and maybe favorite teenager. While we have a whole year to celebrate not only Archie, but Betty, Veronica and Jughead. The CW has given an excellent gift to kick off the celebration, they’ve officially picked up the pilot episode for the live-action ‘Riverdale‘ TV series that will start filming this spring.

Vinnie Jones Co-stars On The CW’s ‘Arrow’!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Oct 20th, 2014

Hey guys, Jana here,

Arrow

Where Marvel-based comic book films have the leading edge over DC-based films, with character introduction and cross-branding, especially  when you take into the post-film stinger that we’ve all learned to wait for, but DC does have a strong point over Marvel with TV serials. I know, Marvel is getting into the small-screen game, too, but it’s no match for DC’s proven titles that have been drawing in crowds from the beginning. Where Marvel didn’t get into the series racket until 1974 with ‘Super Spidey Stories‘ that aired during small segments of ‘The Electric Company‘, DC began in the 1950’s and has kept producing through the decades.

The CW Is Bringing Us ‘iZombie’!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Feb 2nd, 2014

Jana B. here,

iZombie

I love network television in the fall. The big reason for that is the introduction of dozens of new pilots hopeful of being selected for series orders. One of the hottest networks is The CW. While still relatively young, The CW zeros in on the 18-34 age-demographic with proven success. Fresh story telling and unique scenarios are their calling cards. Hoping to join the ranks of such proven program favorites like ‘Supernatural‘, ‘The Vampire Diaries‘ and ‘Smallville‘ are several projects.

The CW’s ‘Flash’ Moves to Pilot!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Jan 23rd, 2014

Jana B. here,

Grant Gustin

The CW is looking to add to the popularity of the superhero craze. ‘Smallville‘ was huge on viewers, The CW took that fan base and translated it into high viewings for Arrow. Now that the fans have been introduced to Barry Allen via Arrow, a pilot has been ordered to launch the series with a bang how Arrow did with it’s pilot episode.

The CW Purchases Project Similar to ‘Battle Royale’!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Nov 13th, 2012

Hi, Bryan Here….

The CW will begin developing a project titled ‘Sick’ for a series, which will center around a world where teens are quarantined after a bizarre and new virus makes adults allergic to them and most likely forced to do battle.  It is described as a cross between ‘Contagion’ and ‘Hunger Games’, which we all know is just the pussy  version and all around terrible mock-up of ‘Battle Royale’

Hi, Bryan Here….

The CW is revving up its new series ‘Arrow’ with Stephen Amell set to star.  I’m of course referring to comic book character ‘The Green Arrow’.  The costume looks great.  It was designed by Colleen Atwood who is an oscar winning costume designer and done just about every Tim Burton film.  The project, written by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg, is based on the DC character and centers on former billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Amell) who, after being marooned for five years on a remote island, returns with a mysterious agenda and a lethal set of new skills that he uses in a war on crime.

Hi Bryan Here….

‘Farscape’ fans can rejoice.  Almost seven years ago, ‘Farscape’ executive producer, Rockne S. O’Bannon  came up with a cool thriller series called ‘Cult’.  Fans were overjoyed back then about the show, so the WB bought it and was going to make it into a pilot.  They even cast Matthew Bomer (White Collar/Chuck) to star in the series.  Then if you remember, the WB went away along with UPN and the studios came up with the CW which is what it all is now.  So after the change, ‘Cult’ was one of the series that got axed and was to never come to be.
