This battle of epic proportions is coming to home video this fall and, of course, there are going to be some out-of-this-world extras tagging along!

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

avengers-age-of-ultron-collage

Here is a brand new trailer for one of the biggest films of 2015, which is ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’. Marvel had the brilliant idea to showcase this trailer by asking for a number of re-tweets on Twitter to unlock the trailer. It’s a genius marketing move to get everyone excited and involved. They used the hashtag  . And it went over very well, only taking an hour or two to achieve the goal. Ultron lays out his plans for decimating Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the latest trailer for Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” in theaters May 1!

 Avengers-2-Age-of-Ultron-marvel-comics-35085661-600-514

Marvel and Disney are now calling the upcoming ‘Avengers‘ sequel ‘The Avengers: The Age of Ultron‘.  So there will be no ‘Avengers 2’ or ‘Avengers Into Darkness’.  Its release date remains May 1, 2015.  So I guess Ultron is gonna be the big bad guy until Thanos. This could get interesting.

The Bishop Charlotte Reporting….

Having not seen Volumes 1 and 2, I considered that I might be a bit confused coming into the plot. However, a review like this can be done by a fangirl like me due to an extensive knowledge of comic book characters and situations. I marched right into Episode 14 of this series without breaking a sweat, and was mildly disappointed to learn that I am not special here – anyone could do it.

Hi Bryan Here….

Thanks to Superhero Hype, we have the first production photo of Joss Whedon’s “Avengers”.  There isn’t really much to see, but a picture is worth a 1000 words right?  Is the the logo?  Headquarters?  The seats are cool.  I’m giddy, I can’t help it.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ 4K UHD Blu-ray Review!

by Gumbercules9000 on Aug 13th, 2019

The culmination of everything we’ve seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the first Iron Man movie in 2008 is here with Avengers: Endgame. Back in 2008, a few people had a big idea for us comic book fans. That idea started with Iron Man, where at the end of the film, Samuel L. Jackson showed up and wanted to get a team together. That team would be the Avengers, that would go on to team up everyone’s favorite superheroes, including Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, The Wasp, The Guardians of the Galaxy, Scarlett Witch, Vision, The Winter Soldier, and a few others. Spread over the course of ten years, these filmmakers and Marvel Studio execs have crafted an intense storyline that has continued over the last decade with rich and iconic characters that have had their own movies to shine, along with teaming up here and there to take on bigger threats.

Avengers: Endgame – Film Review!

Avengers: Endgame – Film Review #2!

by Gumbercules9000 on Apr 23rd, 2019

“Avengers: Endgame is a nearly flawless closing chapter to this universe that started with Iron Man.”

Avengers: Endgame is a nearly flawless closing chapter to this universe that started with Iron Man in 2008. Every movie leading up to Endgame is represented here is a way that honors (while flexing) everything that Disney/Marvel has achieved in the last 11 years. For a movie this dense and long to be executed at such a high level is a testament to the common knowledge that Marvel has created with its characters over the last 11 years. For a movie to have nearly 50 characters appear yet still feel grounded and focused on the original six Avengers we met between 2008-2012 was astonishing.

Avengers: Endgame Predictions!

by Gumbercules9000 on Apr 17th, 2019

We are one week away from the big L.A. premiere of Avengers: Endgame. The embargo on critics reviews will lift shortly after that and the internet will be the wild west of spoilers for two days until the movie is released. I have succesfully avoided spoilers like the plague for Avengers: Endgame. I got off of Twitter last year and deleted Facebook in January (not because of Endgame), so it is very easy to avoid spoilers. I dabble in Reddit for news sometimes but don’t subscribe to any “spoiler” groups, and I still plan to stay offline starting that day in case anything makes the home page. Now even though I am leak and spoiler adverse, I have watched every single trailer and TV spot and spend way too much of my adult time speculating what will happen. I was also in the Wal-Mart toy aisle yesterday and saw the Avengers: Endgame figures so that tipped me off too. So here is what I think will happen based on that…

Gideon Largeman:
[on Andrew's answering machine] Andrew, this is your father. Hello? Look, you don't call me back, so I don't know how to do this. If you're not gonna return my calls then there's no way for us to communicate...
[breaks down]
Gideon Largeman:
Look, I don't know how to do this but you're gonna need to come home now. Last night... Your mother died last night, Andrew. She drowned. Last night she drowned in the bath.
