Hey guys, Jana here,

FF_2015_POSTER

Fantastic Fest‘ has released their 2nd wave of programming with a huge roster that would work as an entire film fest on its own! Add it to the first wave programming seen here, and by Jupiter’s Cock, it’s going to be exciting!!! There will be advance screenings of ‘The Martian‘, ‘High-Rise‘, ‘Green Room‘, and ‘The Keeping Room‘.

“This is a big year for genre cinema. We’re exceptionally proud to honor incredible filmmakers and welcome back some of Fantastic Fest’s favorites,” said Tim League, Fantastic Fest and Alamo Drafthouse CEO/Founder.

Sticking true to Fantastic Fest’s penchant for chaos and explosive events, they welcome Itchy-O to Austin for the first time. A blazing, 32-member aural assault from the darkest depths of Colorado, Itchy-O is a wholly immersive, musical experience on a massive scale. Said festival director Kristen Bell, “We cannot wait for them to unleash their percussive mayhem on our audience as hysteria has a welcome home at Fantastic Fest.”

See below for the full lineup of newly announced film titles for Fantastic Fest 2015. Final wave of titles to be announced shortly.

Hi Bryan Here…

And here it is.  The last of the Ultimate Top Films of the Decade List until the Final Top 10.  So many great films are on this list.  I guess the numbering got messed up somewhere down the line so this list starts with 31.5 instead of 30 and goes to #11.  So after this list, I will reveal my Top Ten Films of the last decade.  So you can check out the entire list now and you might be able to guess what would be on my Top 10.  Please feel free to comment and let me know your guesses.  As usual, you will get the title of the film, the release date, a mini review and synopsis by yours truly, and a link to purchase the movie over at amazon for a good price.

Movie Quotes

Narrator:
Tyler was a night person. While the rest of us were sleeping, he worked. He had one part time job as a projectionist. See, a movie doesn't come all on one big reel. It comes on a few. So someone has to be there to switch the projectors at the exact moment that one reel ends and the next one begins. If you look for it, you can see these little dots come into the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Tyler Durden:
In the industry, we call them "cigarette burns."
Narrator:
That's the cue for a changeover. He flips the projectors, the movie keeps right on going, and nobody in the audience has any idea.
Tyler Durden:
Why would anyone want this shit job?
Narrator:
Because it affords him other interesting opportunities.
Tyler Durden:
Like splicing single frames of pornography into family films.
