Blu-ray Review: ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’!
THE FILM
There is always hope for a new ‘Star Wars‘ movie. Two years ago with ‘The Force Awakens‘, Disneyand JJ Abrams reinvigorated the franchise into becoming the #1 movie of all time. Not only was it financially successful, but it brought a new love to the film series, since the prequels almost destroyed all that ‘Star Wars‘ had built up since 1977. It was a new day in the ‘Star Wars‘ universe with new characters crossing paths with our favorite original characters, which made our collective nerdy hearts soar with happiness and nostalgia.

The next chapter in the Star Wars saga is heading our way December 15, 2017 from director Rian Johnson (‘Looper‘). Having taken her first steps into a larger world in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘, Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe, and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga.
‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’!
Hi everyone, Bryan here….
The next ‘Star Wars‘ film, which will be Episode VIII has a name. ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘! StarWars.com announced the title this morning, which means I anticipate the first trailer very soon. Perhaps Super Bowl time? Also, does this mean that Luke is the Last Jedi or that there are tons of Jedi that will come out of hiding. Whatever the case is, I can’t wait.
Series Review: LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures Season Two!
There are a ton of different ‘Star Wars‘ related movies and TV shows nowadays that it’s kind of difficult to keep up with a lot of the different stories being told now. On the kids-friendly version of the ‘Star Wars‘ franchise is the LEGO ‘Star Wars‘ movies, TV shows, and even video games. This brings us to ‘The Freemaker Adventures‘, which is an animated LEGO show that has only two seasons so far with a few animated shorts to go along with it. There is no sign of a third season in sight though, so this season two might be the last we see of this series.
‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ Is Getting A New Writer!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Looks like things aren’t running perfectly smoothly in the world surrounding ‘Star Wars: Episode IX‘. Colin Trevorrow is directing the movie, but the script is in need of a rewrite. Trevorrow and Derek Connolly have spent a considerable amount of time on the script, but the copy needs some new blood infused into it.

Film Review: ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here….
I can’t believe it’s finally here. Ten years since the last ‘Star Wars‘ movie, which was ‘Episode III‘ by George Lucas. In the decade that followed, we all thought we would never see another ‘Star Wars‘ feature film again, since Lucas himself destroyed and ruined the prequel trilogy and continued to alter the original trilogy to dried up mess of movies that are almost unrecognizable. Fortunately for every ‘Star Wars‘ fan in the world, he sold his production company that included the rights to ‘Star Wars‘ to Disney for a modest amount of $4 billion.

‘Star Wars’ Saga Finally Coming To Digital HD!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
‘Star Wars‘ fans form a line, in an organized fashion, those that believe Han shot first (the truth!) to the left, all you misinformed believers that think Greedo was the quicker draw to the right. At long last, the missing piece for a true collection of the greatest space-western/opera to grace any galaxy can finally be attained! No, I’m not talking about the unaltered original trilogy, but a Digital HD release of all 6 films the ‘Star Wars‘ canon is currently comprised of.
Peter Mayhew Will Be The Wookie Once More In ‘Star Wars VII’!!
Hello, Jana here,
Star Wars fans have been a mixture of excited and perplexed over Episode VII’s announcement. It would be great for us if George Lucas was tapping into his galaxy once again to bring us the latest chapter. Alas, that’s not the case. Lucas sold rights over to Disney and retired to go back to making films in his garage. At least that’s what I remember from an article. At any rate, he’s not running the show this time around. Star Wars isn’t like, say, the James Bond movies, you can’t just change out the lead and let each director have a different version of 007’s world. Star Wars fans want conformity. We’ve grown to love this galaxy and demand that anyone else that touches it, love it as much as we do.
KNIVES OUT – Film Review!
“Knives Out was a goddamn delight and one of the most fun movies of the year.”
An entire wealthy family turns on each other when the head patriarch turns up dead on his 80th birthday in this smart-as-hell murder mystery yarn Knives Out from the brilliant filmmaker Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper, Star Wars: The Last Jedi). Darkly funny throughout with a treasure trove of twists and turns and one fantastic ensemble dream cast, Johnson tells this modern-day who-dunnit puzzle effortlessly that will leave you guessing with surprises up until the very end. It was a goddamn delight and one of the most fun movies of the year.
4K UHD Review: ‘Thor: Ragnarok’!
THE FILM
Thor is starring in his third stand-alone film called ‘Thor: Ragnarok‘ and brings a much needed change to the character in the best possibly way. Thor now has a fun personality and great comedic timing, mostly due to Chris Hemsworth amazing acting chops here. In addition to that, the film is steeped in a hypnotic, yet hyper-active color scheme that looks like Willy Wonka and Andy Warhol got together and decorated a city. In fact, Wonka’s theme ‘Pure Imagination’ is a song that plays in the film. It’s not all cold and stiff dialogue here anymore with brown or earth toned aliens and robots that Thor has to use his hammer to fight. Everyone and everything is covered in bright primary and pastel colors that creates a breath of fresh air in this stale universe. That’s all thanks to filmmaker Taika Waititi for giving his unique vision on this big budget film ($180 million). In previous Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, particularly with Thor, things have been sour and gloomy.
