Hi, Bryan Here….

William Shatner just posted to his social media outlets, “Hoping to do a documentary on Star Trek:The Next Generation. I don’t know if you know but there’s a mysterious story that needs to be told and I’d like to tell it.”  This blew my mind.  I wonder what kind of mysterious events surround the epic series.  And what will Shatner bring to it.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Paramount released an official statement on the release of ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ Season One Blu-ray.  The series will come in glorious 1080p HD and will sport a 7.1 lossless DTS-HD audio mix.  Now that’s fucking badass!  I’ve been watching this on netflix on my Xbox-360 and the quality is complete shit.  It looks like the extras are mostly on the first disc and the last disc of the set, which sports six discs all together.  I cannot wait.

Hey guys, Jana here,

bryan-fuller

Bryan Fuller is a name known for such shows as ‘Hannibal‘ and ‘Pushing Daisies‘, but if you go a little further into Fuller’s past, you’ll find a sci-fi fan first and foremost. In fact, Fuller became a writer with the hopes of writing for Gene Roddenberry’s juggernaut that is the ‘Star Trek‘ universe. He achieved that goal and began his writing career writing for ‘Star Trek: Voyager‘ and ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine‘. Now he’s back where it all started, taking on the mantle of showrunner and co-creator of the new Trek series coming from CBS.

by Gumbercules9000 on May 19th, 2014

Rebecca S. Here…

Dallas-Comic-Con-2014

This year’s Dallas Comic Con has come to a close and if you missed it- you missed a lot. This year’s Con was help at the massive Dallas Convention Center, while previous years were held at the (fun, but ridiculously laid out) Irving convention Center. The change to the larger venue effected everyone’s attitude toward the weekend. Having, almost, everything in the same area of one floor was a welcome change. The downfall here is that the site was so big and there was very little (read: no) signage to let people know where the different events were being held.

Movie Quotes

Fat Mancho:
You want a Rolls-Royce, you don't come here, no no. You go to England, or wherever the fuck they make it. If you want champagne, you go see the French. If you need money, you find a Jew. But, if you want dirt, or scum buried under a rock somewhere, or some secret nobody wants anybody to know about, there's only one place to go: right here, Hell's Kitchen. It is the lost and found of shit. They lose it and we find it. Forget about it, man.
