by Red Zeppelbon on Mar 29th, 2014
Hello, Jana here,

PhantasmVteaser_big

You can’t call yourself a sci-fi//horror enthusiast without watching 1979’s original ‘Phantasm‘. The story of a macabre grave robber named Tall Man and his killer spheres began a franchise and received a die-hard fan base.  Four movies spanned 35 years time with director-writer Don Coscarelli at the helm for each one. 16 years has passed since ‘Phantasm IV‘ gave fans another dose of Coscarelli-centric horror-story-telling, and they have been reeling for more.

How Cool Is This ‘Halloween’ Blu-ray Collection!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jun 13th, 2014

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

 BqBu2OOCAAM-nsZ

Good news, everyone. Anchor Bay Entertainment and Scream Factory have finally partnered up to give us horror fans something we have wanted for far too long. Not one but two different Blu-Ray box sets that spans all of the ‘Halloween‘ films. There will be tons of new bonus features, every film in high-definition, collectible packaging, and a 40-page Booklet. You can expect this amazing set in time for Halloween season, specifically on September 23rd. It’s about time they did this, because Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street already have box sets. Glad to see ‘Halloween‘ is catching up with everyone else. Now if we can just get that ‘Phantasm‘ box set to release in the US instead of the UK, all will be well. And today, they have unveiled the amazing Box Art it comes in. This is Fantastic. I Can’t wait. And you can pre-order the set now for 30% off.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Writer Kevin Sessums recently sat down with John Cameron Mitchell (director and star of Hedwig and the Angry Inch), who told him he had just finished a first draft to a sequel to his 2001 musical ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’.  Stephen Trask is expected to return as the composer as well.  When Sessums asked what the sequel was about, Mitchell replied, “Let’s just say it’s something that could only happen to Hedwig — a phantasmagoria with dollops of brutal reality interwoven into its multi-media narrative.”  What a tease that is.
