Hello Jana here,

Key and Peele‘, the Comedy Central sketch project sees Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele in front of a live studio audience bantering about a topic weaved between filmed shorts and sketches. This has been a recipe for success for 3 seasons, already and the network sees that, so it comes as no surprised a fourth season has already been green-lighted. Fans of the show can look forward to 20 original episodes and two best-of episodes that will make up the fourth season.

Misty Here….

Good news “Key & Peele” fans, it looks like  COMEDY CENTRAL’s sketch comedy stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele will star in a third season on the comedy sketch show.  The third season will be 13 episodes long and will premiere next Fall. Kent Alterman, Head of Original Programming and Production of Comedy Central said, “Since Obama won re-election, it only seems fair that we would give ‘Key and Peele’ another season.”

Jana’s Best of 2017!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Jan 1st, 2018

Hey guys, Jana here,

I know these “Best of 2017” lists should technically be published in 2017, but why would I start 2018 any differently than I lived the majority of my adult life: Procrastinating and underachieving. What can I say? That’s my wheelhouse.

For a year that put a spotlight on some of the shittiest behavior by some of the Hollywood elite, it was actually a good year for TV and movies. I didn’t limit myself in number because as I moved on with the brackets, I felt like I was making ‘Sophie’s Choice‘ on some of these, so they’re all getting in! I’m feeling my inner-Oprah here, You’ve made the list! You made the list! EVERYBODY made the list!! In order to spare myself any arguments, I’m stating up front that my picks for the “Best of 2017” are not edited in regards to scandal or hideous human behavior.

Favorite Movies of 2017!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 27th, 2017

Was 2017 a great year for movies? Of course it was. There were some excellent films to be released in 2017. There were also some bad ones for sure, but the focus on this article are some of the Best films that stuck with me long after viewing. Most people will give you their Top 10 list, but this is no Top 10, because there are just so many movies that I loved and feel passionate about, that I find it difficult and unpleasing to rank them.

Instead, these are my favorite movies of 2017, which I hope you’ve seen already. If you haven’t yet, you’re in for a real treat and I can’t wait for you to see them. Some of these films are still in theaters, while some are on Netflix, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray, so you’ll be able to quickly see any of these if you haven’t. I watched over 270 movies that were released in 2017 and these are my absolute favorites. I hope you get to see all of these, because I know you’ll love them. In no particular order…..

Blu-ray Review: GET OUT!

by Gumbercules9000 on May 25th, 2017

Hi everyone, Bryan here….

NE2UEHKXb05S62_1_1

THE FILM

When you say the name Jordan Peele, you would most likely think of the brilliant comedic stylings of Key and Peele or Peele’s time on MadTV. You might even crack a big smile, thinking of Peele’s recent film Keanu. But I’m willing to bet you wouldn’t think of the words “horror maestro” when you see Jordan Peele’s name come across the screen. And that’s exactly what Peele can add to his resume résumé with his new movie Get Out, which he wrote and directed for the genre mogul Blumhouse.

Film Review: ‘Storks’!!

by Janet White on Sep 23rd, 2016

Hello Everyone, Janet W. here…

storks-baby

Addressing the age-old question of where do babies come from is Storks. Although the blessed service once performed by storks has now been discontinued. Hunter (Kelsey Grammer), the BBBBBBOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSS (you’ll get it when you see the film), has converted the stork baby delivery business into a new direction, packages. Junior (Andy Samberg), a high achiever, is up for promotion to BBBBBBOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSS. One condition looms over his ascension, and it involves a girl named Tulip (Katie Crown, they should have named her Calamity Jane). With this little vixen, Junior’s life will never be the same. Hey guys, Jana here,

The Angry Birds Movie‘ made such a giant splash for Rovio Entertainment Ltd. that a sequel has been announced. This one is kind of a “Duh!” move, but I’m glad it’s officially in the works. I think I probably enjoyed the movie more than my kids did, but it was something we kept talking about for a few days after. Read the rest of this entry »

Hey guys, Jana here,

Never thought I’d ever see these words, but here goes: Jean-Claude Van Damme is attached to a comedy pilot on order from Amazon. Shocked? I’m still a little unsure and I’m writing this! We know he’s going to star as it’s titled ‘Jean-Claude Van Johnson‘. His counterpart in this series is Kat Foster.

MTV Gathering Major Players For ‘Scream’ Series!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Aug 6th, 2014

Hey everyone, Jana here,

lvHkv0r

When MTV announces a new TV series, I’ve learned over the years to let it fall on deaf ears. I’ve never forgiven them for what they did to ‘Teen Wolf‘. The former music-based station really needs to change it’s name to We-Used-To-Love-Music-But-Morons-Make-Us-Better-Money-So-Enjoy-This-Attempt-At-Entertainment. OK, so maybe not exactly that, but something close. SUX TV?
