Jon Bernthal Is Cast In Edgar Wright’s ‘Baby Driver’ Starring Kevin Spacey!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Edgar Wright, is a man known for some distinct movies that have a massive cult following. If you know who Simon Pegg is chances are you know who Wright is. Why do I say this? Because the two have collaborated on the Cornetto Trilogy consisting of some of the most awesome movies in recent history. ‘Shaun of the Dead‘, ‘Hot Fuzz‘ and ‘The World’s End‘ are those movies and chances are good you can’t attend a Comic-Con anywhere without coming across someone dressed as one of the characters.

Jana’s Best of 2017!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
I know these “Best of 2017” lists should technically be published in 2017, but why would I start 2018 any differently than I lived the majority of my adult life: Procrastinating and underachieving. What can I say? That’s my wheelhouse.
For a year that put a spotlight on some of the shittiest behavior by some of the Hollywood elite, it was actually a good year for TV and movies. I didn’t limit myself in number because as I moved on with the brackets, I felt like I was making ‘Sophie’s Choice‘ on some of these, so they’re all getting in! I’m feeling my inner-Oprah here, You’ve made the list! You made the list! EVERYBODY made the list!! In order to spare myself any arguments, I’m stating up front that my picks for the “Best of 2017” are not edited in regards to scandal or hideous human behavior.
Baby Driver is Coming to 4K UHD and Blu-ray!
Hi everyone, Bryan here….
Perhaps the best film of the year BABY DRIVER is coming to 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and Digital HD, which I couldn’t be more excited for. On September 12th, you’ll be able to watch the film on any digital platform. On October 10th, the 4K UHD and Blu-ray will be available with a ton of bonus features. I’m super excited about this release and I hope it wins an OSCAR. Details below.
The Pilgrimage Trailer Looks Hardcore!
Hi everyone, Bryan here….
“I’m on a pilgrimage to see a moose!” Well, not so much here, but there’s a new movie coming out on August 11th called Pilgrimage that looks hardcore. From what I can tell from the bloody violent trailer, it looks like a cross between Braveheart, a supernatural horror film, and Scorsese’s recent Silence film, but you know, with more decapitations and blood. Jon Bernthal (Walking Dead) and Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming), along with Richard Armitage (The Hobbit) star in the film, and takes place in Ireland in the year 1209 where a group of monks being a pilgrimage to escort an ancient relic. Things get out of hand, human heads end up on giant sticks, sword fights ensue, and blood is shed. This seems right up my alley.
Film Review: Baby Driver!
Hi everyone, Bryan here….
Finally, Edgar Wright has made a musical in the most Edgar Wright way. The film is called Baby Driver and is the most fun I’ve had at the movies all year long. When Wright makes a movie, you shut-up, listen, watch, and have a cold pint, because you’re in for a fun-as-hell thrill ride. With his highly impressive resume of films, including Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End, and Scott Pilgrim vs The World, you quickly know that Wright is one of the coolest, best, and most fun filmmakers alive today.
Ben Affleck Could Become ‘The Accountant’ Again!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Last year, Ben Affleck’s ‘The Accountant‘ was a proven performer making it’s budget back multiple times over. Warner Bros. is looking into a sequel and is in negotiations with Ben Affleck to return as the titular character.

Edgar Wright’s ‘Baby Driver’ Trailer is HERE!
Hi everyone, Bryan here….
I think we can all say that Edgar Wright is the coolest filmmaker that ever lived. Wright gave us ‘Shaun of the Dead‘, ‘Hot Fuzz‘, ‘Scott Pilgrim vs The World‘, ‘The World’s End‘ and much more! Filmmakers can go their whole careers and never come close to making a film as fun or as good as any of these. Oh it’s true. It’s damn true. Luckily for us, Wright has been hard at work on his latest film, which is called ‘Baby Driver‘, and it finally has a trailer.

Film Review: ‘The Accountant’!
Hi everyone, Bryan here….
‘The Accountant‘ is not just about someone who does people’s taxes and saves people money? It’s so much more than that with Gavin O’Connor’s (Miracle, Warrior) film ‘The Accountant‘, starring Ben Affleck or as we all know him now as ‘Batman‘. ‘The Accountant‘ is a mix between Jason Bourne, Rain Man, and John Wick as we follow a man named Christian Wolff (if that’s his real name?) who was diagnosed as a high-functioning autistic kid at a young age. He had an affinity for numbers and solving puzzles, and was super quick to do so. He might have just been a superhero from an early age.
Netflix gives ‘The Punisher’ a Full Series!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here…
It was only a matter of time, since Jon Bernthal’s ‘Punisher‘ in the second season of ‘Daredevil‘ was so hugely popular, hence Netflix has just announced that ‘Punisher’ will have its own series. They have tried to do ‘The Punisher’ over the years, first being with Dolph Lundgren back in the 80s. I still have a soft spot for that movie. Then there was the Thomas Jane films, which could have been amazing and a few scenes had their moments, but it was mostly laughable. Put in a few other projects in the mix and you would have a sub-par Punisher movie realm.
Check out the second trailer for Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
In the category of most anticipated TV returns, we can count the second season of Netflix’s ‘Daredevil‘ among that list. The story of Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen who moonlights as a vigilante has been an intriguing series that I’ve not been able to get enough of. I’m more excited for season 2. Not only because it’s a gripping storyline, but because of the inclusion of a new character this season.
‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Trailer Teases The Arrival of The Punisher!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
One of the many Marvel properties that have been a hit with fans is ‘Daredevil‘ from Netflix. Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Scott Glenn and Rosario Dawson make out an awesome cast that tells the story of Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen. As if the cast isn’t already awesome, season 2 brings in a few extra names and those names are attached to some fan favorite characters.
Best Movies of 2015, According To Jana
Hey guys, Jana here,
Another year has come and gone and brought with it about a billion movies, some were total crap and a waste of time, but others…oh they were worth every bit of time I spent. Pre-movie hype, post-movie discussion, and the random hours I spent thinking about it in the shower or sitting at a stop-light. Having said that, this is my list of movies that 2015 blessed us with, and maybe a few the year cursed us with.
Film Review: ‘Me and Earl and the Dying Girl’!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here….
There are very few times in life where a movie affects you in such a way that you end up recalling the entire film from time to time in life. One of those films for me is ‘E.T.‘, as I saw the movie with my parents in theaters back in the early 80s when it was released. That film really struck a chord with me as it was the first time I really connected with a character and a film. It led to all the emotions pouring out of me, and still does to this day even when I watch it for the 1,134th time. Only a handful of movies have done that to me since then, one of them being this beautiful and charming movie, ‘Me and Earl and the Dying Girl‘.
Inaugural Wizard World Comic Con Show In Tulsa This Weekend!!!
Hey guys, a crazy-excited Jana here,
I’ve circled the dates on every calendar in the house, checked the lineup for new additions every day (sometimes 2-3 x a day), and have considered costuming options. The event in question is the Tulsa leg of the WizardWorld Comic Con taking place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 7-9.
Film Review: ‘Fury’!!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here….
When Brad Pitt signs up to kill nazis in a WWII movie, you say, “YES”. This particular movie is called ‘Fury‘, and is a solid, very good war film. It’s brutal, violent, raw, and has enough of a fresh feel to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire 134-minute runtime. Instead of being out in the open, walking the fields of France or another nazi occupied country, ‘Fury‘ takes place mostly inside a small steel tank with five guys led by ‘Wardaddy’ (Pitt), during the final month of WWII. The claustrophobia sets in quickly and gives us an ample amount of time to dig deep into each soldier inside the tank.
Enjoy the Amazing New ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ Trailer!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
Paramount has pushed back Martin Scorsese’s ‘Wolf of Wall Street‘ back to Christmas day. Originally, it was going to open Thanksgiving. But just shortly after they made this announcement, we have a brand new trailer with all new footage. And like the first one, it looks incredible. It looks like the main stars are Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill with Matthew McConaughey, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie and Jon Bernthal rounding out the impressive cast.
Check Out This Amazing Trailer for Scorsese’s ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, Starring Leonardo DiCaprio!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
The trailer is finally here for Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Wolf of Wall Street‘, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew MacConaughey, Jonah Hill, Rob Reiner, Jon Bernthal, Jean Dujardin, Kyle Chandler, Jon Favreau, Ethan Suplee, Spike Jonze, and Margot Robbie. The film is based on Jordan Belfort’s novel of the same name. This looks so good and will be released on November 15th, just in time for the holidays.
Film Review: ‘Snitch’!
Hi, Bryan Here….
I was thoroughly impressed with Ric Roman Waugh’s ‘Snitch’, but for different reasons than you expect. Inspired by true events like most movies these days, this particular film produces a sense of true fear and hopelessness rather than show cheesy light-hearted inspiring stories that we tend to see in these “true event’ stories. And Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson leaves his ‘The Rock‘ name at home and plays a real human being who is in over his head with some real bad guys. Not only that, Johnson proves that his acting ability is worthy of not a WWE Championship, but of an acting award.
Check Out The New Trailer for ’42’, The Jackie Robinson Biopic, Starring Harrison Ford!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
Here is the new trailer for the Jackie Robinson bio-pic called ‘42‘, which stars Chadwick Boseman as Robinson and Harrison Ford as the general manager Branch Rickey. Also starring is ‘Walking Dead’s‘ Jon Bernthal and Christopher Meloni. It’s the story of Jackie Robinson and his signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers. Looks good. What do yall think?
Big Possible Casting News For Frank Darabont’s ‘L.A. Noir’ Series!!!
Hi Bryan Here…..
We wrote a few weeks back about Darabont’s new project, ‘L.A. Noir’ for TNT. You can read about that HERE. All that was known about the show was its premise and that Darabont himself would write and direct at least the pilot. Now, Darabont and TNT have an actor in mind to play the lead role, and that actor comes from Darabont’s old tv series, ‘The Walking Dead’. Before you progress with this story, know that there will be some SPOILERS for the ‘Walking Dead’.
The Walking Dead Is Renewed For 13 Episode 2nd Season!!
The pilot episode of the Zombie Epic tv series, “The Walking Dead” was the biggest premiere and highest rated broadcast in AMC’s history. Kudos to Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore for creating this story ten years ago. And leave it to Frank Darabont to tell the story on film, and all that is right in the zombie apocalyptic world rests easy.
Milo Ventimiglia Added To Cast In Frank Darabont’s TNT Pilot ‘L.A. Noir’!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
We’ve talked about Darabont’s upcoming project ‘L.A. Noir’ before. Jon Benthal is set for the lead role of the series with Darabont writing/producing and directing the 1st episode. Now, Milo Ventimglia of ‘Heroes’ and ‘Gilmore Girls’ is set to star apposite Bernthal. I’m a fan of Milo’s and I hope the network will let Darabont do his thing, unlike AMC for ‘Walking Dead’.
