Hey guys, Jana here,

king-cobra

James Franco is nothing if not incredibly busy, his latest project just wrapped which makes only 1 in 15 projects he has in varying degrees of completion, at the moment. ‘King Cobra‘ focuses on a murder in the adult entertainment industry in the early 2000s. A porno producer, played by Christian Slater, discovers the next big star in Brent Corrigan (Garrett Clayton), then finds himself the target of rival producer and a former male escort played by Franco, with a bad temper and a burning desire to become a porn kingpin who will stop at nothing to steal his rival’s star. Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

8AVCUqd

If I were to tell you that Seth Rogen and James Franco were making a movie where they are tasked with a mission from the United States to head to North Korea, track down Kim Jong-un, and kill him – would you jump up from your seat, throw your fist in the air, and scream ‘YES’? I know I did. That is in fact the storyline here with their new film ‘The Interview‘, which is from the makers of ‘Neighbors‘ and ‘This is The End‘. The trailer looks hilarious and is now at the top of my list of movies to see. And man, what a cool poster. Enjoy the trailer.

James Franco’s Next Project Involves Charles Manson!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jan 18th, 2013

Hi, Bryan Here….

james franco image

James Franco will do just about anything in life.  It’s insane to think about.  I mean, this year he has a few films on the table.  One being the epic Sam Raimi directed ‘Oz the Great and Powerful‘, which will cater to everyone.  But then he has a few gay and or porn related films on the chopping block too, which are ‘Kink‘, ‘Lovelace‘, and ‘Interior Leather Bar‘. Let’s not forget the film ‘Spring Breakers‘, where he plays a drugdealing killer named Alien.  Oh yeah, and he is on a daytime soap opera too when he is not hosting the Oscars or winning awards, or going to school, or acting in pot smoking comedies with his friends.  The guy is an all around huge talent.  It’s very impressive.

Hi, Bryan Here…

James Franco will join Jason Statham for a film called ‘Homefront’.  It will be directed by Gary Fleder (Runaway Jury) and was written by Stallone.  Stallone and Statham star in both ‘Exependable’ films.  Stallone will also be producing the film.  Franco knows no bounds and will be in every movie and genre.  I like that about him.

Director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 127 Hours, Slumdog Millionaire), is not in danger of being out of work any time soon. After releasing Trance in March of this year, the versatile director is turning his attention to the small screen. In the US, he’s partnering with his Slumdog Millionaire writer and producer Simon Beaufoy (127 Hours and the upcoming Hunger Games: Catching Fire) and Christian Colson (127 Hours and Trance) for a 10 part WWII miniseries.

Film Review: ‘NERVE’!!

by Janet White on Jul 27th, 2016

Hello Everyone, Janet W. here…

Nerve - Cinematography

To quote Marianne Williamson, Author and Lecturer: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Film Review: ‘The Adderall Diaries’!

by Gumbercules9000 on Apr 19th, 2016

Fernando M., Here…

The_Adderall_Diaries_Still

I must admit that I have not read the Stephen Elliot memoir that this is based on.  I can’t judge much as far as the worth of the book or if the plot is better suited for the written word, however, I must say I found this a bit underwhelming.

11.22.63‘ is a great book from Stephen King that  follows a teacher, Jake Epping, who discovers a time portal that leads to the same date every single time, 9/9/1958. From 1958, Epping ventures on a quest to try and prevent the assassination of John F. Chris Rock Steps Up To Host 88th Academy Awards!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Oct 21st, 2015

Hey guys, Jana here,

The 77th Annual Academy Awards - Photo Room

Have the Oscars lost a little of their glittery oomph that make it a night of royalty for Hollywood’s best and brightest? Maybe. One year it will be utterly entertaining, original and exciting, the next it feels forced, stale, boring and becomes the night that NEVER ends early enough. I’m sure there is a formula for success and the host is key. Hoping to have figured out that recipe, producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin have asked Chris Rock back to host the 88th Academy Awards.

"This Is The End" At The 5th Annual Summer Of Sony

Sometimes an idea begins as a movie but seems better suited to a series order after working up the project for a bit, such is the case with ‘Future Man‘, a comedy from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, slated as a half-hour comedy picked up by Hulu. The pitch from Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir had a bit of a bidding war between networks of all shape and size was ultimately won over by Sony Pictures TV. Point Grey Pictures, Matt Tolmach Productions will be producing with Sony.

Film Review: ‘Trainwreck’!

by Gumbercules9000 on Jul 15th, 2015

Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

NEbTciZPpnq3ei_1_b

Comedy mastermind Judd Apatow is back this year with a new feature film called ‘Trainwreck‘ and is his best film since ‘Knocked Up‘. That was eight years ago. Sure, Apatow has written and produced dozens of films since then, but has only really directed two other feature films since, being ‘Funny People‘ and ‘This is 40‘. The usual actors are nowhere to be seen in ‘Trainwreck‘ either. There is no Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, Jason Segel, Martin Starr, or even James Franco to be seen anywhere on screen. Actress and comedienne Amy Schumer wrote the screenplay here for Apatow to direct and the two are a perfect pair.
