Blu-ray Review: ‘I, Tonya’!

by Gumbercules9000 on Apr 2nd, 2018

Yes, I’m old enough to have been alive and understand all that went down back in 1994, in regards to the Olympic Figure Skating competitors. Specifically that of Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan. It was such a media circus of epic proportions and very bizarre culmination of events that made worldwide news for months and even years after the 1994 Olympic games. Directed by Craig Gillespie (‘Lars and the Real Girl’, ‘Fright Night’, ‘Million Dollar Arm’), ‘I, Tonya‘ follows the life of Tonya Harding, from her upbringing, her abusive home-life with her mother and other relationships, that lead to her competing in figure skating and the infamous attack on her USA teammate Nancy Kerrigan.

Jana’s Best of 2017!!!

by Red Zeppelbon on Jan 1st, 2018

Hey guys, Jana here,

I know these “Best of 2017” lists should technically be published in 2017, but why would I start 2018 any differently than I lived the majority of my adult life: Procrastinating and underachieving. What can I say? That’s my wheelhouse.

I didn’t limit myself in number because as I moved on with the brackets, I felt like I was making ‘Sophie’s Choice‘ on some of these, so they’re all getting in! I’m feeling my inner-Oprah here, You’ve made the list! You made the list! EVERYBODY made the list!! In order to spare myself any arguments, I’m stating up front that my picks for the “Best of 2017” are not edited in regards to scandal or hideous human behavior.

It’s kind of like online dating… no one likes it when someone unrecognizable shows up to dinner.

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

Have you read the young adult books titled ‘Ghostgirl‘? If not, you should. If you have read them, then get excited, because they are going to be adapted into a movie. And none other than Matthew Vaughn will be producing them with an option to direct and write. Vaughn directed excellent films such as ‘Layer Cake‘, ‘Kick-Ass‘, ‘X-Men: First Class‘, and ‘Stardust’.
