Hey guys, Jana here,

Martin McDonagh is the mastermind behind the stellar hit from 2008, ‘In Bruges‘, as both writer and director, he created a hilarious, witty film that I just adored. I’m thrilled to discover hes the same force bringing ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri‘ to life, with start of production set for April.

Hey guys, Jana here,

If you’re like me, your kids beg you to run out to every animated movie that hits the box office and, especially, if it’s a Disney movie. I’ll admit, I drag my feet on most films, but when it comes to Disney animated flicks, I’m just as excited as the kids are and can’t wait to hit the theaters.

Film Review: ‘Hail, Caesar!”

by Gumbercules9000 on Feb 3rd, 2016

Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

hail-caesar-josh-brolin

It’s always a good time when the Coen Bros. have a new movie in theaters. Film after film, the Coen Bros. have not only told bizarre, funny, violent, musical stories, but have conjured up some of the best characters in movie history. Their uncanny talent for telling stories on film is unrivaled with each movie they make. Their latest endeavor tackles the early years of Hollywood, specifically the year 1951, in a film called ‘Hail, Caesar!‘ that has an A-List cast of Coen regulars and newcomers. Even though the posters and trailers show this A-List cast throughout, the film follows one man, and that is Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin), based on the real life Mannix who was a big time producer and  “fixer” at MGM.

Here’s the New Trailer for ‘Hail, Caesar!’

by Gumbercules9000 on Jan 12th, 2016

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

hail-caesar

Coen Brothers fans, you can start getting even more excited, because the Coen’s new film ‘Hail Caesar!‘ is coming out next month. We have a new trailer for the film, which is all sorts of funny and takes place during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Instead of the usual quick cuts and one liners in a trailer, we have a nice long clip with Alden Ehrenreich and Ralph Fiennes. Fiennes is trying to teach Alden how to speak with a proper British accent, and is comedy gold.

Film Review: ‘The Good Dinosaur’!

by Gumbercules9000 on Nov 24th, 2015

Hi everyone, Bryan Here…

maxresdefault

This year marks the first time that Pixar released to feature films in the same year. Usually, Pixar releases one film every year or two, but in 2015, we got both ‘Inside Out‘ and this new Thanksgiving release ‘The Good Dinosaur‘. There was good reason for this second release as well, as this might have been the first Pixar movie to ever have a troubled history of production. Back in 2009, Bob Peterson came up with the story and was set to direct ‘The Good Dinosaur‘ a couple of years later.

The story of a Hollywood fixer in the 1950’s works tirelessly to keep the studio’s stars in line is a very broad by-line for the upcoming ‘Hail, Caesar!’, but it does paint a picture.

Bill Murray doesn’t do a whole lot of television anymore, but he has made an exception for HBO’s new miniseries ‘Olive Kitteridge‘, which is based on the award winning novel by Elizabeth Strout. The project will be directed by Lisa Cholodenko (‘The Kids Are All Right‘) and tells the story of a quaint town in New England where crime and steamy affairs happen between everyone.
