Disney-Pixar Gives Us Our First Peek At ‘The Incredibles 2’!!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,

The film isn’t slated to debut until June 15, 2018 we couldn’t expect much footage to be shared yet. What we do have is a teaser that is less than 60 seconds, but shows us that we’re at the same time-frame the original film ended. Either that or Jack-Jack just isn’t going to age, but John Lasseter revealed that the second film “starts right as the first one finishes, so it just carries on”. Read the rest of this entry »
Disney Announces New Star Wars Trilogy And Live-Action Series!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
It may have taken long enough, but Disney (to be read Kathleen Kennedy) finally found a director they can get along with when it comes to the super-successful ‘Star Wars‘ franchise. There was a ton of tension on-set between Kennedy and original ‘The Last Jedi‘ directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller which led to a parting of the ways and ideas for new directors were naming almost anyone in Hollywood to take up the reigns until Rian Johnson was named as successor. He stayed in step with Kennedy’s vision for the film and ultimately has gained enough trust to be given the power to develop a new trilogy of films that will live in the ‘Star Wars‘ universe, along with collaborator Ram Bergman, but a different galaxy.

See How Disney Helped One Child With Autism in ‘Life, Animated’!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Disney movies are a hallmark of most of our childhoods and they were awesome, but nothing more than an animated break from reality in an air conditioned theater. For one child with autism they appeared as a lifeline helping him cope and connecting him to a world he doesn’t understand. In ‘Life, Animated‘ Owen Suskind is the focus of the story and in this documentary we get an up-close look at Owen’s life as a young boy to the young man he is now, getting ready to live in his own apartment. One thing that is guaranteed about this doc – there will be tears.

Disney’s Live-Action Calendar Looks Amazing!!!

Disney loves the live-action fairy tale trend as it’s proven by the last few years of their movie catalog, so it’s not surprising they are planning out a slate of movies into the next several years.
‘Big Hero 6’ Heading to Disney XD as Animated Series!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
‘Big Hero 6‘ is headed to new life as an animated series on Disney XD and is set to premiere in 2017. This news leads me to ask one big question: Is Fall Out Boy going with it? I fully endorse a world where more kids are singing “Immortals” and less kids are singing “Let It Go“!

Dwayne Johnson Boards A Tramp Steamer In Disney’s ‘Jungle Cruise’!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Disney is going all retro and dipping back into one of the original theme park attractions that opened when Disneyland did to find Jungle Cruise and make a movie based on the ride. In a little bit of an ironic twist, The Jungle Cruise was vaguely based on a film to begin with – ‘The African Queen‘ with simulating 1930’s adventures from a British explorer’s lodge aboard a tramp steamer. From there, the waterways were open leading you through various tropical locales simulating a riverboat cruise down several major rivers of Asia, Africa and South America.
The Collected Works of Hayao Miyazaki Will Be Released by Disney!!!

Hayao Miyazaki is a Japanese film director, producer, screenwriter, animator, author and manga artist. ‘The Good Dinosaur’ From Pixar/Disney Looks Fantastic!!!

Coming Thanksgiving of this year, Pixar and Disney comes a fantastic family feature, ‘The Good Dinosaur‘. The pair travel through a harsh and mysterious landscape where both learn the power of confronting their fears and discovering what they’re truly capable of.
Disney’s Latest Live-Action Project Is A Prequel To ‘Aladdin’!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Disney has found another story they are mining for live-action and it’s not exactly a remake of one of their established animated classics. It’s a prequel to the 1992 smash-success ‘Aladdin‘ titled ‘Genies‘. While the project has a producer and writers, there is no director attached to the undertaking at the moment.

‘Tangled’ Boasts Original Stars In New Series For Disney Channel!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Disney has made the day a big one for announcements and there is one more to add to the list. Disney Channel has put into motion an animated series based on the 2010 feature film, ‘Tangled‘. One of the greatest things that irritated me about a series based on an excellent film is the voices are always different. Kind of close, if we’re lucky, but never quite what we are used to, until now. Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will reprise their roles as Rapunzel and Eugene or Flynn Rider.
Disney’s Next Live-Action Project Comes From ‘Fantasia’!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Disney has selected the next project for their ongoing trend of animation to live-action series, there’s a catch this time though. The source material was not a full-length film on it’s own, rather it was part of a compilation Disney produced in 1940 under the umbrella name of ‘Fantasia‘. The closing sequence of the musical conglomeration ‘Night on Bald Mountain‘, is the storyline that will receive a full live-action film treatment.
Disney XD Says Allons-Y To New Who Fans!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
‘Doctor Who‘ is teaming up with an unlikely network, but Disney XD has picked up the rights to the new Who, in particular Seasons 2 through 4, or the Tennant years. Beginning May 9, DisneyXD will kick off their Who programming with a special.
Sir Ian McKellen Cast In Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Disney is right in the middle of their latest trend in film. Taking their own smash animated stories and flipping them around, re-working them into live-action films providing double the bank off a single story. If you’re talking box office success, they’re mega-hits, if you’re looking at critically, they’ve missed the end zone more than they’ve scored. Next up for the family studio is ‘Beauty and the Beast‘.
Disney Thinks ‘Mulan’ is A Girl Worth Fighting For Live-Action Adaptation!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Walt Disney Pictures has selected the next story up for the live-action remake with ‘Mulan‘. The company has been hell bent on taking successful animated stories, blowing up the fantasy worlds they live in, including the already larger-than-life villains, then dropping the wide-eyed hero into the setting and let the story unfold. This is a pretty cool idea, however Disney has yet to pull a live-action crossover out of their hat that was better than it’s animated mirror. Read the rest of this entry »
Disney’s ‘Into The Woods’ Coming To Multiple Digital and Disc Formats!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Disney has done it again, they’ve taken a popular musical and put it on screen. There are all kinds of takes on how well the film did, the casting choices and even the songs (Hello? Didn’t anyone see the original show before?), not to mention the flack over the prolific double entendres uttered by Johnny Depp’s Big Bad Wolf to Lilla Crawford’s Red Riding Hood, once again, did you NOT see the original people? I loved it, one of the high points is Meryl Streep as the witch. Meryl is flawless regardless her role. Now the Blu-ray is coming on March 24, 2015!!!
‘Ducktales’ Is Coming Back to Disney in 2017!!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here…
“Life is like a hurricane here in Duckburg.” That’s right, folks. Disney XD has revived ‘Ducktales‘ to come back as a new animated series in 2017. Scrooge McDuck along with his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and of course Donald, will be back in action.
2015 Disney Film Release Dates With Trailers!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
While the world is focusing on auld lang syne and bringing 2014 to a close, Disney is pointedly looking to the future or “To infinity and beyond!” as Buzz Lightyear would say. Walt Disney Studios has given us a wide list of release dates for 2015 including the first Star Wars since the mouse has taken ownership. It’s a big lineup and will, no doubt, bring in a wega-payday for the company. In the last year, three films, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘, ‘Maleficent‘ and ‘Captain America Winter Soldier‘ brought in over $700 million world-wide on their own. It stands to reason they can expect the same from 2015. Let’s kick it off with some animation!
Enjoy The Teaser Trailer for Disney’s ‘Tomorrowland’!!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here…
Here is the teaser trailer that was just showed for the big crowd at New York Comic-Con during Disney’s panel, where they focused on ‘Tomorrowland‘. George Clooney made a surprise appearance at the comic convention to showcase the trailer. Brad Bird, Damon Lindelof, Britt Robertson, and Hugh Laurie were also in attendance. Hope you enjoy it.
Disney’s Live-Action ‘The Jungle Book’ Lands Bill Murray!!!
I am – officially – in love with this new bit of news! Once we heard that Disney was adapting the classic Rudyard Kipling tale ‘The Jungle Book‘ from their original animated format into the second-life of live-action release, the stars attached have gotten bigger and better. Jon Favreau (of ‘Iron Man‘ 1 and 2 fame) is on board to direct some awesomely pedigreed thespians in this venture.
Steve Carell Attached to Disney’s ‘Brooklyn Family Robinson’!!!
Disney has made a name for itself with family-friendly entertainment. It’s got a logo that any toddler recognizes and parents can guarantee that if it’s bearing the Disney name it’s a safe bet that at least someone in the family will love it. I’m not saying Disney is getting stale, they are having to work harder than ever now to remain atop the family pyramid of entertainment since there are so many other contenders in that category now.
Disney Takes Flight With Dumbo as Live-Action Film!!!
Hi all, Jana here,
I love a good Disney movie. I still watch Disney cartoons under the guise of “my kids want to watch it”, no one buys this anymore, it just makes me feel a little less like a 7 year old if I pass it off as the kids. Like anything, there are favorites and then you have those not-so-favorites that you watch only if you have to and you’re going to stare at the top corner of the screen to try and keep from crying. ‘Dumbo‘ falls into that category for me. It has it’s good points, a drunk mouse is ALWAYS hysterical, but the whole separating Dumbo from his mom is just mean. I get it, there has to be an event that moves the story forward and apparently this heart-crushingly brutal scene is vital. I can’t listen to Alison Krauss sing ‘Baby Mine‘ as that is enough to send the water-works into a permanent and soul-crushing on position.
Josh Gad Teaming Up With Disney Again!!!
Hello, Jana here,
When we talk about ‘Frozen‘ a few things probably jump to mind. Be it the icy tundra it’s set in, the fantastic, albeit overplayed ‘Let it Go‘, or the comic relief that is either Olaf the hug-loving snowman or how John Travolta stumbled over the name Idina Menzel during the Academy Awards that created memes and quizzes as far as the eye could see.
Big Names Added To Disney’s Live-Action Remake of ‘The Jungle Book’!!
Hello, Jana here,
Disney has always been more than just an animated studio, but when you produce such awesomeness as ‘Sleeping Beauty‘, ‘Robin Hood‘, ‘Peter Pan‘, ‘Aladdin‘ and ‘Beauty and the Beast‘ it’s not something that is always remembered. Plus, we begin life learning that a Disney movie is something animated with catchy songs, at least that’s what my kids learned first. The studio has been finding different ways to get more bang for their buck for a long time. That’s why there will be a celebrated release, MAYBE a sequel in theaters, then a third or more straight to DVD. Take that same movie with established characters and it pops up on the Disney Channel as a brand new animated series. Not to mention the obligatory Disney park tie-in and the countless branding options from clothing to toys to bedding and all things in between.
Art Review: Mondo’s Disney ‘Nothing’s Impossible’ Event!!
Rebecca S., Here…
South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin is known for being the cool place to be for music, movies, and tech every March. And it’s now starting to branch out into the art scene. For last 2 years Mondo Gallery, a collectible art boutique with a rabid fan base and part of the uber popular Alamo Drafthouse, has had gallery openings during SXSW with lines of buyers, stretching for blocks, waiting for hours, and in some cases, days.
Disney Whips Up The Rights to ‘Indiana Jones’!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
Disney. Why did it have to be Disney? I kid. Well, it was only a matter of time before Disney got their mouse mittens on the ‘Indiana Jones‘ franchise. So let’s go down the list shall we? Disney now has Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and now Indiana Jones. Soon Disney will have everything, including all of the Ernest movies. Paramount sold the rights to the franchise to Disney today, which includes marketing and distribution deals. Recently, Disney bought LucasFilm, which means they have ‘Star Wars‘ now, but not ‘Indiana Jones‘.
Disney Unveils New ‘Maleficent’ Trailer and Poster Featuring Angelina Jolie!!!
Jana B., Here…
Maleficent is by far one of the most wicked of all Disney villains. She appears at will, places curses on babies and that’s all before she turns into a bloody behemoth of a dragon! I just saw the new poster Disney released for “Maleficent“. This is the big movie we’ve heard of for so long that Angelina Jolie was supposed to be just perfect for.
Disney Preps Live-Action Cruella de Vil Film !!!
Jana B., Here….
If Hollywood teaches us anything lately it’s that evil sells. Think of Disney, alone. You will be hard pressed to find any of their cash cow cartoons without an utterly evil antagonist. Which I love. It seems like you take the scary, evil guy in any horror movie and stack them against Dr. Facilier from ‘Princess and the Frog‘, or Maleficent from ‘Sleeping Beauty‘, and my favorite, although he’s far less scary – Captain Hook from ‘Peter Pan‘. I repeat. Evil sells. Every major motion picture studio and every 3rd grader with dreams of being a film maker know this, too.
Disney Announces Unaltered Original ‘Star Wars’ Trilogy on Blu-Ray!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
Since Disney now has all the rights to George Lucas‘ work under Lucas pictures, which includes the epic ‘Star Wars‘ franchise, they are fast tracking tons of ‘Star Wars‘ projects for future releases. We all know that J.J. Abrams will be directing Episode VII and actually has Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher returning to reprise their roles for the sequels. Even better news, Disney is finally listening to the fans, something Lucas never did, and are finally releasing the original trilogy on blu-ray in their original and unaltered versions as they were seen over 30 years ago.
Blu-Ray Review: ‘Disney’s Peter Pan’!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
It was so great to see this newly remastered ‘Peter Pan’ from Disney. The image is pristine and is the best this animated film has ever looked. Plus, Disney decided to give it a 7.1 lossless DTS-HD audio mix, which just sounds amazing. I can’t believe it has been since 1953 since we first watched this animated instant classic capture the hearts of many. It’s truly remarkable to have this on blu-ray.
Disney and Lucas Film Are Scrapping the Re-Releases of Original ‘Star Wars’ Films in 3D!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
Good news, everyone. Disney and Lucas Film have decided to scrap the future releases of the original ‘Star Wars‘ films in 3D. Thank the gods for this one. As we previously reported a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, Lucas was re-releasing the original ‘Star Wars‘ film in 3D in theaters, starting with ‘Episode I: The Phantom Menace‘.
Take a Look at Disney’s ‘The Lone Ranger’ Trailer!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
Here is the 2nd trailer for ‘The Lone Ranger‘ starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. The first trailer we watched came out a few months ago and was about a minute shorter than this one. I hope this turns out good and not like the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean‘ films. Gore Verbinski has teamed up with Depp again to make this epic picture, and at one time was going to be one of the most expensive films ever made, and the studio axed the project all together.
‘Tron’ Sequel Is Back On Track With Disney!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
The ‘Tron‘ sequel seems to be back on the table over at Disney and is currently referred to as ‘Tron 3‘ and will be direct sequel to the 2010 ‘Tron: Legacy‘ film. Joseph Kosinksi is attached to return to the director’s chair for this sequel under the supervision of Alan Horn, Disney Studio’s new head honcho. Jesse Wigutow has also been asked to re-write the script, which Wigutow this will be the first major project for Wigutow.
Disney Signs Exclusive Deal With Netflix!!!
Hi, Bryan Here…..
Netflix still seems to be alive and well, despite their enormous price hike and falling shares. Disney announced yesterday that it had inked a deal with Netflix to show films from it’s studios including Disney, Pixar, and Marvel. This seems like a bigger deal than the arrangement Netflix once had with Starz.
Disney is Developing a ‘Boy Meets World’ Sequel Series!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
I can’t believe it’s been more than ten years since the last episode of ‘Boy Meets World has a new episode. Since it’s solid seven season run on ABC, the Disney Channel is gearing up a sequel series for the show and has even made the deal with Michael Jacobs, the co-creator and executive producer of ‘Boy Meets World’.

A New Pac Man Animated Series Is Set To Air In 2013 on Disney XD!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
The series will be called ‘Pac Man: The Adventure Begins and will air on the Disney XD channel. The series will be in something called stereoscopic 3D meaning I think it will be a CG kind of show. Avi Arad who produced the Spider-Man films will produce this show along with Rick Unger (X-Men Evoultion).

Official Press Release from Disney on the ‘Avatar’ Theme Park!!!
Hi Bryan Here….
BURBANK, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Worldwide is joining forces with visionary filmmaker James Cameron and Fox Filmed Entertainment to bring the world of AVATAR to life at Disney parks. Through an exclusive agreement announced today by Disney, Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox, Disney will partner with Cameron and producing partner Jon Landau to create themed lands that will give theme park guests the opportunity to explore the mysterious universe of AVATAR first hand. Disney plans to build the first AVATAR themed land at Walt Disney World, within the Animal Kingdom park. With its emphasis on living in harmony with nature, Animal Kingdom is a natural fit for the AVATAR stories, which share the same philosophy. Construction is expected to begin by 2013.

Hi Bryan Here….
“Disney has licensed the rights from Fox, and the movie’s director, James Cameron, will help to develop the attractions, CEO Bob Iger says. The first will be at Animal Kingdom in Orlando. The goal, he says, is to enable visitors to “enter the Avatar universe and explore it first hand.” Cameron adds that “to bring that to life at Animal Kingdom is fantastic because it’s so thematically aligned….We want to do things that maybe they haven’t even thought of.”
Disney’s ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ Is One Hell of a Film!!! (A DVD Review)
Hi Bryan Here….
This film is so amazing. It reminds me a lot of ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ in the way of how the family deals with their issues and sticks together. I love seeing films like this. Very feel good story with extremely likable and relatable characters who stick together. Disney is really on a roll with their foreign films. This film, ‘Do Dooni Chaar’ is not just a great foreign film, but a movie you can add to any collection of you love movies. What a treat this was.
Disney’s ‘Once Upon A Warrior’ Is Epic!!! (A DVD Review)
Hi Bryan Here….
Again, how awesome is it that Disney is releasing foreign films in the sci-fi fantasy genre? It’s kick-ass I tell you. This film, ‘Once Upon a Warrior’ is pretty epic if I may say so. First off the film is a little on the hardcore side and is over two hours long. So you know there is definite story and character development in this film for kids. The visuals are fantastic and the special FX are almost top notch. I was surprised on how crazy cool this film was.
Disney’s ‘Zokkomon’ Is Quite Good!!! (A DVD Review)
Hi Bryan Here…..
I really love that Disney is releasing films from around the world. I think it is great that kids and adults alike will get the chance to see what movies are like from other far off countries. One of those films is ‘Zokkomon’ which sounds like a Pokemon character but it is a Hindu film about the magic of being a hero. It really came across very well and was delighted to watch it.

Disney and Ben Stiller’s Production Company ‘Red Hour’ Will Make ‘Quantum Hoops’ Based on The 2007 Documentary!!!
Hi Bryan Here….
Disney has just purchased the rights to remake ‘Quantum Hoops’ which is a 2007 documentary that followed the 2006 Caltech basketball team that had 21 seasons and 245 conference games without a single win. This team lost each game regularly with a sixty point deficit. Ben Stiller’s ‘Red Hour’ production company will produce the film which will be a comedy based on the documentary. It will be based on the “story of a group of brainiacs and future world political and industrial titans who tried to overcome a lack of athletic skills by getting an exiled NCAA coach to lead their team to what seemed for two decades an impossible dream: one in the ‘win’ column.”
Disney Sets Dates For Two Unknown ‘Marvel Comics’ Films and One Unknown ‘Pixar’ Film!!!
Hi Bryan Here….
Yes, Disney has just set two release dates for unknown Marvel Comics films. Both of which are in 2014. So we know there will be an ‘Iron Man 3’ film, and sequels to both ‘Thor’ and ‘Captain America’. Also there will be an ‘Ant-Man’ film made by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead/Scott Pilgrim) and Joe Cornish who did the amazing ‘Attack The Block’ film. Could it be possible that Joss Whedon will be working back to back on an ‘Avengers’ sequel?
Disney’s New CG-Animated Film ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Sounds Awesome!!!!
Hi Bryan Here….
‘Wreck-It Ralph’ from Disney is sounding awesome. The new CG animated Disney film looks to be about a bad villain in a video game who wants to prove he can be a good guy. Now that just sounds AWESOME. The press releases says it will be a simple 8-bit video game. Oh nostalgia. Sounds like ‘Toy Story’ with a little bit of the ‘Scott Pilgrim’ mixed in. This could be really good. Plus it already has some great actors lending their voices for the animated film including: John C. Reilly, Sarah Silveman, Jane Lynch, and Jack McBrayer. Read the entire press release below.

Disney and Star Wars Unite To Give Us “Star Tours” The New Version!!!!

We have the official press release that will tell you some information about what to expect from the all new and improved ride. “Warp Speed Ahead!” Fuck! Wrong movie!
Walt Disney Wins!!! The Greedy Suits Lose!!! Atmosphere Character Walkaraounds to Remain the Same!!!
Hi Bryan Here…
The other day I posted a story HERE where I talked about an article that a guy who works for Disney wrote about all of those “walkaround” characters you see at Disney Theme parks such as Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. Basically the greedy asshole suits at Disney wanted to start charging kids and their families a sizeable charge for a “photopass” which would allow the kids and families to take pictures with their favorite characters behind velvet rope with security.
Disney Theme Parks Are Becoming Less Magical As We Speak!!!
Hi Bryan Here…
I remember going to Disney World when I was about five years old back in the early 80’s. I went with my parents and some of my parents friends and their kid. Words cannot begin to describe what it was like going to The Magical Kingdom or Epcot. See back then, they didn’t have Universal Studios or Nickelodeon, or any of the other movie themed rides. It all was about Disney characters. And their one very HUGE draw was that I got to meet all my favorite Disney characters in person.
Jon Favreau Might Helm “The Magic Kingdom” for Disney!!
Jon Favreau is in talks with disney to develop and make a film called “The Magic Kingdom”. He still is working on “Cowboys and Aliens” and I know he will be doing Iron Man 3 at some point, but “The Magic Kingdom is close to being put on his plate.

Tron Makes Way at Disney Theme Parks
Gearing up for the Tron sequel? I know I am. Disney is going to rev up Tron in a very big way in their Theme Parks. We are talking rides, food, arcades, a dance club, live entertainers, and much much more. Disney says it is going to be ELECTRIFYING.
Disney had to say this about it.
“It’s an “electrifying” experience for the entire family, filled with music, lights and some of your favorite food and beverage, all set amidst the captivating world of “TRON: Legacy!” From a dazzling dance club under the stars to an authentic recreation of Flynn’s Arcade to some radical gaming, it’s like nowhere else on the grid! Each night, we’ll feature live entertainers, complete with lasers, glow accessories and the hottest music ever to rock the grid. ElecTRONica is “the” place to dance the night away in a fantastic world that only Disney can create. Highlights for the entire family will definitely be Flynn’s Video Arcade, face painting and the TRON: Evolution video game area. TRON fans and families can also enjoy the party seven days a week during Thanksgiving week and Christmas week.”
This sounds quite awesome and maybe worth a trip.
Here is some concept art for the park.
Blu-ray Review: ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’!
THE FILM
There is always hope for a new ‘Star Wars‘ movie. Two years ago with ‘The Force Awakens‘, Disneyand JJ Abrams reinvigorated the franchise into becoming the #1 movie of all time. Not only was it financially successful, but it brought a new love to the film series, since the prequels almost destroyed all that ‘Star Wars‘ had built up since 1977. It was a new day in the ‘Star Wars‘ universe with new characters crossing paths with our favorite original characters, which made our collective nerdy hearts soar with happiness and nostalgia.
Film Review: ‘A Wrinkle in Time’!
I really wanted to like A Wrinkle in Time more than I did. I gave it my best shot, but in the end, the only thing I can honestly say was that it had lots of great colors. Perhaps it was my high expectations for a Disney film, plus Oprah Winfrey and Mindy Kaling that set me up for disappointment, but regardless, I was left feeling let down in a film that I knew practically nothing about. I have never read the 1962 Madeleine L’Engle novel, so I honestly had no clue what the plot was but whatever, it’s Disney, it’s gonna be good. Well…
Blu-ray Review: ‘COCO’!
THE FILM
(This film portion was written by Beka Perlstein.)
If you’re like me, you’ve seen the previews for Coco and thought, what is this movie and how is Disney going to make a movie all about death translate to kids. It didn’t stop me from jumping at the chance to preview the film and now I submit my apologies to Disney and the world that I ever doubted their creative genius. I’m loco for Coco and you will be, too.
‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ 4K UHD Announced and Detailed!
Disney and Lucasfilm are bringing ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘ to 4K and UHD, as well as Blu-ray, DVD, and digital streaming. The film will have a Dolby Vision image and HDR10 along with a Dolby Atmos audio mix. Needless to say, I can’t wait. You’ll be able to watch the film on digital streaming on March 13th and then be able to purchase the actual discs on March 27th. This is the first release from Disney that will feature both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and what a way to debut it is. In addition to these technical specs, there will be 14 deleted scenes that have never been seen before as well as some behind the scenes, and audio commentary. I just can’t wait. Below is the full details of what you can expect on the release.
‘Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures: Season 2’ Releases To DVD!!!
Ryan Reynolds Has a ‘Clue’ As To What His Next Project Will Be!!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Ryan Reynolds‘ star power just gets higher and higher, and it looks like he’s not slowing down in any way, shape or form. The ‘Deadpool‘ ringer’s production company, Maximum Effort, has signed a 3-year first-look deal with Fox. This is a timely announcement as Twentieth Century Fox’s feature assets will be transferred to Disney. It looks like they’ve found their first project and it’s going to be interesting.
I’ve got an “INCREDIBLE” update for you!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
‘The Incredibles‘ are making a comeback and Disney released character portraits in the most trendy, pop culture-ish way possible, as selfies matched with their artistic counter-part. Google’s Arts and Culture app has been the new driving force powering social media and everyone is doing it. I even tried to get a match on my dog, Duke, aka John Wayne, but there’s not recognition for pets, yet. Along with the images of the voice actors, we see stylized artwork of their on-screen persona, and it’s awesome to see anything coming from Disney Pixar about the upcoming sequel. But that’s not all they’ve given us. We get four new images, but we also get some plot details!
Favorite Movies of 2017!
Was 2017 a great year for movies? Of course it was. There were some excellent films to be released in 2017. There were also some bad ones for sure, but the focus on this article are some of the Best films that stuck with me long after viewing. Most people will give you their Top 10 list, but this is no Top 10, because there are just so many movies that I loved and feel passionate about, that I find it difficult and unpleasing to rank them.
Instead, these are my favorite movies of 2017, which I hope you’ve seen already. If you haven’t yet, you’re in for a real treat and I can’t wait for you to see them. Some of these films are still in theaters, while some are on Netflix, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray, so you’ll be able to quickly see any of these if you haven’t. I watched over 270 movies that were released in 2017 and these are my absolute favorites. I hope you get to see all of these, because I know you’ll love them. In no particular order…..

4K UHD Review: Westworld Season 1!
THE SERIES
HBO’s new flagship show ‘Westworld‘ entered with a big bang in its first season. Since ‘Game of Thrones‘ is ending soon, HBO was ahead of the game and needed its new sci-fi action original show and ‘Westworld‘ was its name. That rhymed a little bit. Based on Michael Crichton’s story and film from 1973 of the same name, ‘Westworld‘ takes a theme park (much like Disneyland) to the next level. What do I mean by that? Well, let’s say you entered the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean‘ ride at Disneyland.

We have a very fun 61st episode of our fun podcast under the MULTI-MEDIA MEN banner called ‘Media-Ocrity‘, where the show is just – okay. Here on the show, we focus strictly on horror/sci-fi, comic books, and video games – basically all the fun stuff that tickles your fancy. We also talk in spoiler form on ‘Thor: Ragnarok‘, ‘Stranger Things 2‘ , Call of Duty WWII, the Lord of the Rings TV series, and Disney buying out Fox. It was so much fun. This episode is guaranteed to thrill you, chill you, and fulfill you. I am joined pop-culture wizard Jonathan Atterbury and comic book artist Jeremy Megert.

Film Review: ‘Florida Project’!
The Florida Project is the most important movie of 2017. It is a beautiful look at the resiliency and hope of childhood. It is also the most powerful depiction of a segment of the American population often overlooked in America and certainly passed over in film. Not outright poverty but just a group of people doing enough to survive.
