Check out the second trailer for Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
In the category of most anticipated TV returns, we can count the second season of Netflix’s ‘Daredevil‘ among that list. The story of Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen who moonlights as a vigilante has been an intriguing series that I’ve not been able to get enough of. I’m more excited for season 2. Not only because it’s a gripping storyline, but because of the inclusion of a new character this season.
‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Trailer Teases The Arrival of The Punisher!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
One of the many Marvel properties that have been a hit with fans is ‘Daredevil‘ from Netflix. Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Scott Glenn and Rosario Dawson make out an awesome cast that tells the story of Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen. As if the cast isn’t already awesome, season 2 brings in a few extra names and those names are attached to some fan favorite characters.
Hillary Thomas’ Top 5 Films and Best TV Shows of 2015!!
Hillary T., Here…
As a writer for Boomstick Comics, we are charged with going to see a lot of movies. I thought that this past year, I saw quite a few. Apparently, with the opening of the Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson, the movies I saw this past year weren’t all new. There were some that were classic programming at a new venue. What can I say? James Wallace knows that I like (“Sixteen Candles”, “Aliens”, “Big Trouble In Little China”, “True Grit”, and “Conan” just to name a few), but I did see a “Few Good Movies.”
Enjoy the ‘Daredevil’ Trailer!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here…
We have our first full-length trailer for the new Marvel series ‘Daredevil‘, which will air exclusively on Netflix. I must say, this looks pretty good. Charlie Cox (‘Boardwalk Empire‘) is playing Matt Murdock/Daredevil along with Vincent D’Onofrio playing Kingpin.
The New ‘Daredevil’ Series Comes to Netflix on….
Hi everyone, Bryan Here….
Mark your calendars for April 10th, because that is when the new Marvel series ‘Daredevil‘ will debut exclusively on Netflix. Season one will have 13 – one hour episodes, which will all be available at midnight on April 10th. I really enjoy the first attempt at the feature film that starred Ben Affleck, Jon Favreau, Colin Farrell, and Michael Clarke Duncan. Let me rephrase that, I enjoyed the director’s cut of the film, which is Highly Recommended. But this new series is shaping up quite nicely.
Scott Glenn Latest To Join ‘Daredevil’ on Netflix!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
We’ve talked in the past about how Marvel is delving into every facet of entertainment and/or marketing positions they can with their wide-spread character base. I’ve also told you how the next Netflix produced series is going to be Marvel’s first foray with the pay-tv company. Next year, we’ve been told to expect ‘Daredevil‘ to be available for you to put it in queue. We know quite a few of the major players in the drama set in Hell’s Kitchen, but that doesn’t mean we’ve met everyone that’s going to be involved.
Rosario Dawson Joins Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ Series!!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here…
More good news is coming from the ‘Daredevil’ series for Netflix. In addition to Charlie Cox (‘Boardwalk Empire‘) playing Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio (‘Full Metal Jacket‘) playing Kingpin, Rosario Dawson (‘Clerks II‘ and ‘Sin City‘) will add her amazing talent to the new show.
Kingpin Has Been Cast in Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ TV Serial!!
Hi, Jana here,
What do you do when a Marvel movie flops with a more deafening thud than Crystal Pepsi? You re-tool it, sell it to Netflix where it becomes an episodic challenge. Where the feature film had big budgets and big stars to it’s credit, this series is going to attempt to make more out of less. Daredevil fans everywhere will have an opinion on what they expect from the new show. My expectations for this show is that it NOT suck. Not asking much, just the lack of major suckage.
Daredevil Has Been Cast!!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here…
We all know that Netflix and Marvel have teamed up to bring us a treasure trove of TV series based on their comic book characters. One of them being Daredevil/Matt Murdock. Well it looks like Daredevil has been cast and it is NOT Ben Affleck. Rather it is the great actor Charlie Cox who is most known for his role on HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire‘ and lead in ‘Stardust‘.
John Cusack Enters the Wall Street World!!!
Hello, Jana here,
When you set a series in the world of Wall Street, you need characters colorful enough to not get lost in the atmosphere. Take ‘The Wolf of Wall Street‘, for example, Leonardo DiCaprio’s portrayal of Jordan Belfort was larger than life. He had to be outrageous to stand out in the fast-paced, high-stakes land of the almighty dollar. Christian Bale’s version of Patrick Bateman from ‘American Psycho‘ stands out just as much. Granted, these personalities are not what you would assume to be the norm for traders working on Wall Street, but the ambience definitely fosters these type of personalities.

Screen Actors Guild Award WInners!!!
Hi Bryan Here….
Below are the winners of the SAG awards from last night. This might be an early indication for who has a good chance of winning at the Oscars this year. Looks like ‘The Help’ cleaned up here. Will they at the Oscars? ‘HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’ cleaned up too. Much kudos to all the winners and noms.
See What Happens on the Next Few Episodes of HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’!!!
Hi Bryan Here….
From Terence Winter (Emmy®-winning writer on HBO’s The Sopranos) and Oscar®-winning director Martin Scorsese, Boardwalk Empire is set in Atlantic City in 1920 at the dawn of Prohibition. The series chronicles the life and times of Enoch Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi), the city treasurer whose double role as politician and bootlegger makes him the city’s undisputed czar at a time when illegal alcohol has opened up highly lucrative opportunities for rumrunners and distributors. In a city defined by notorious backroom politics and vicious power struggles, Nucky must contend with ambitious underlings, relentless Feds, rival gangsters — including Arnold Rothstein, Lucky Luciano and Al Capone — and his own appetite for women, profits, and power.
The Saddest Moments in TV History!
Days are getting shorter and it’s starting to feel slightly cooler outside. It’s the end of summer and the beginning of autumn where leaves start to fall and orange spiced everything is available for mass consumption. This new season also signifies going back to school, starting something new whether it be a different job or living in another city. Whatever the case may be, it’s for sure an emotional ride.
Thank goodness for entertaining television though, right?
