‘Boardwalk Empire’ Axes Paz De La Huerta and Hires Bobby Canavale For Season 3!!!
Hi Bryan Here….
TV Line is reporting that Boardwalk Empire has not renewed Paz De La Huerta’s contract for season 3. Huerta played Nucky Thompson’s unstable mistress, Lucy Danziger. She was introduced in the first episode of season 1 and was in the first half of season 2’s episodes. In season 2, she has a baby with Michael Shannon’s character, Lt. Van Alden, and she then runs away leaving Alden with the baby. That might be the last we will ever see of Lucy.

Scorsese Scores Big With Pacino, De Niro and Pesci Signing Onto Jimmy Hoffa Tale!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
When Martin Scorsese knows talent, he doesn’t hesitate to use it. Such is the case of the upcoming film ‘The Irishman‘ about one of the coldest cases in mafia history, the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa. Thus far that cast consists of Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, and Joe Pesci. The unofficial additions that are currently in talks to join this wonder-cast are Harvey Keitel, and Bobby Cannavale.

New Face To Appear On Season Three of ‘Mr. Robot’!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
Bobby Cannavale is one of those guys you might not recognize by name, but when you see his face, you’ll recognize him from a dozen different projects. Some of them being Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man‘, the absolutely brilliant ‘Chef‘, ‘Will & Grace‘, ‘Boardwalk Empire‘, and my personal favorite, ‘Nurse Jackie‘. He’s recently coming off the recently canceled HBO series ‘Vinyl‘ and has picked another series to call home for the time being, this time it’s USA’s ‘Mr. Robot‘.
Martin Scorsese’s Latest Mob Movie Lands At Netflix!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
There are two things Martin Scorsese knows a lot about, one of them is making movies and the other is making mob movies. From ‘Goodfellas‘, to ‘Gangs of New York‘, to ‘The Departed‘ with several stops in between, his films speak for themselves so it’s no wonder that a bit of a bidding war has broken out around his latest project ‘The Irishman‘. The companies are sending up their white flags with Netflix standing on the pile of broken bodies, the victor.
John Turturro Is Back as The Jesus in ‘The Big Lebowski’ Spinoff!!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
If you’ve missed ‘The Big Lebowski‘, get ready for ‘Going Places‘! It’s a spinoff of the Coen Brothers‘ hit film from 1998 and was written by, directed by, and starring John Turturro. What character could he be playing other than “the Jesus”?! We’ve got your first peek at Turturro from the new film!
HBO Renews ‘Vinyl’ For A Second Season!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
HBO’s practice of prepping a second season before the first premiered is a tried and true practice for many of the hit drama series of the network, and it’s being put into use for ‘Vinyl‘, now. Vinyl just debuted on February 14 to enough excitement that a second season is a simple decision.
HBO’s Untitled Rock’n’Roll Project Signs Parisse and Marino!!!
Hey guys, Jana here,
I would say I’m a loyal fan. Take Ewan McGregor for example – I’ve seen every film I can find, heard him narrate a piece on polar bears for PBS and watched his motorcycle treks, I even have the book! This loyalty is not spent on McGregor, alone, but a handful of actors/actresses and directors make up my little circle. One of those directors is Martin Scorsese. If he made it, chances are I’m going to love it. So I’m looking forward to HBO’s untitled Rock’n Roll drama series and it’s that series that is making the news with a couple of new actor-commitments.
Film Review: ‘Spy’!!
Hi everyone, Bryan Here….
Director Paul Feig and actress Melissa McCarthy make one hell of a team. Since ‘Bridesmaids‘, this duo have struck box office gold. It seems like Feig loves putting McCarthy in very similar roles, particularly a character who works for law enforcement or some government intelligence agency. In ‘Bridesmaids‘, McCarthy’s character was a CIA analyst who had the codes for all the nukes. In ‘The Heat‘, she was a hardcore Boston police officer and detective.
Film Review: ‘Annie’!!
Beka P., Here…
Annie’s adage is, “you’re never fully dressed without a smile,” and you’re sure to be doing just that from beginning to end of this remake. As a child, I about wore out my VHS of the 1982 version, so you can imagine how skeptical I was going into this reboot. Like most of you old school Annie fans, I went in with a, “this better be good or else” attitude. It’s a good thing director Will Gluck’s version blew me out of the water, because I’m not really sure who I would have submitted my complaints to.

2012 Emmy Award Winners!!!
Hi, Bryan Here….
Below is the list of the winners for the 2012 Prime-Time Emmy Award Winners. I don’t see how ‘Modern Family’ and ‘Two and Half Men’ win anything. They shouldn’t win any kind of award when they go up against shows like ‘Mad Men’, ‘Game of Thrones’, and ‘Breaking Bad’. The Emmy judges need to be fired and never allowed to pick winners ever again. However, much congratulations to ‘Homeland’, ‘Downton Abbey’, Aaron Paul, ‘Veep’, and ‘American Horror Story’
