Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues….On?

by Red Zeppelbon on Feb 21st, 2014

Jana B. here,

Anchorman

Remember way back at the end of October when Adam McKay told us that for every joke we laugh at in one of his movies that there are at least a dozen jokes that didn’t make it into the final cut? Then he told us he was wanting to ultimately re-release ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues‘ with an entirely different version than originally seen in theaters? OK, well, if you remember that, THAT is what is going to happen! The mind boggles that there is more to be added, but there is a lot!

Film Review: ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 18th, 2013

Hi, Bryan Here…

ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES

Almost a decade later, we have received a sequel to the cult comedy hit, ‘Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy‘, which might have not performed all so well at the box office back in 2004, but has become an instant classic on home video. In these past years, we have seen nearly every actor from that film become super stars with a giant fan-base that has been quoting their dialogue from their film all those years ago. Well, we’re here with ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues‘, and I’m here to say that there are enough gut busting laughs for three entire feature films, and I expect this sequel to boast huge ratings and numbers at the box office come this holiday.

Enjoy The New Hilarious ‘Anchorman 2’ Trailer!!!

by Gumbercules9000 on Oct 24th, 2013

Jana B., Here…

anchorman2

So the new trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues just dropped. It. Looks. HILARIOUS!!! Holy crow, people this is going to be a great movie! We’ve got the same crazy crew led by Will Ferrell. I am a huge fan of his, anyway, and this one does not seem like it will disappoint. After reading some of the comments from the slack-jawed, fly-catching public and I don’t see how people are complaining that it doesn’t look funny or that they ALREADY hate it? Puh-lease. Either you’re a Will Ferrell fan or you’re not. If you’re not, chances are good you’re not going to like anything he’s in.

 ben-and-jerrys-ice-cream

For the fans of Ron Burgundy, awaiting the December release of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, just got a little easier. And a little Scotch-ier. Those of us that share a taste palate with the fictional anchorman are in for a sweet treat. Ben and Jerry’s announced its newest limited batch ice cream flavor, “Scotchy Scotch Scotch”. Sadly, there is NO alcohol content to the ice cream, but if you’re dedicated enough, you can make your own boozey float!

This is a teaser trailer, so we don’t have any actual footage from the film, but we do get the Channel 4 News Team all talking to us about the film, and it’s nothing short of hilarious. I can’t wait to see this. ‘Anchorman 2‘ is gonna be epic.  Stay classy.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Looks like Harrison Ford will be putting on his comedy pants as he just signed on to co-star in ‘Anchorman 2‘ alongside Will Ferrel. I guess Ford wants have some fun before getting into the Millennium Falcon again. We hear Ford will play a legendary newscaster, much like a Tom Brokaw in the real world, which starts shooting next month in Atlanta.

Hi, Bryan Here….

Ron Burgundy sent out a tweet today that said, “Anchorman 2 teaser w Dictator tom night. Dont know what a teaser is. World is crazy? Having a scotch.”  My review is coming soon for ‘The Dictator’ and releases tomorrow.  Expect that ‘Anchorman 2’ trailer to be in front of it.  I do know that ‘Anchorman 2’  will debut in 2014.  That seems like a long ways off, but with little teases like this, it will be worth the wait.  And by the way, definitely see ‘The Dictator’!

ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP – Film Review!

by Gumbercules9000 on Oct 17th, 2019

In the world of unnecessary sequels run amok, Zombieland: Double Tap proves that sometimes sequels are absolutely worth the wait. Set 10 years after the original movie, Zombieland: Double Tap quickly picks up where we left off with this makeshift family as they work together to survive a zombie apocalypse. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) & Wichita (Emma Stone) all reprise their roles from the 2009 original with the same enthusiasm as they had the first time around. When the first movie came out most of the stars were not well known but after 10 years they’ve gone on to star in Oscar-nominated movies and even win Oscars themselves. Those 10 years in real life and in the Zombieland universe was the perfect amount of time for the writers and director to put together a sequel worthy of the original and maybe even superior to it in some way. This is easily one of the best comedies of 2019.

My Favorite Movies Released in 2018!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 27th, 2018

The year of 2018 has come to a close and over the past 365 days, I’ve seen roughly 175 new films that were released.  I had a ton of fun watching each and every single one of them, even if I came out sour towards a film. There were a ton of great films this year that ranged from big action blockbusters, emotional indie dramas, scary-as-hell films that still haunt me, and some laugh out loud movies that always put me in the right mood. I’d chalk 2018 as a winner in the movie business, because there are some films that came out that I will truly cherish for a long time to come.

Film Review: ‘Battle of the Sexes’!!

by Janet White on Sep 22nd, 2017

Hello Everyone, Janet W. here…

The year was 1972; Billie Jean King (Emma Stone) had just won the US Open. Thrust into the mainstream limelight, emerged into the Women’s Lib movement, and treated as the lesser sex by the world, King breaks free from the bonds of the United States National Lawn Tennis Association. The USNLTA paid the female players considerably less than the male players for illogical reasons like men are the big ticket sellers; men need the money for their families, etc. With her trusted friend and manager, Gladys Heldman (Sarah Silverman), along with her and other female tennis players the face of tennis was forever changed.

Film Review: ‘The Big Short’!

by Gumbercules9000 on Dec 24th, 2015

Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

Christian-Bale-The-Big-Short-Movie-Still-800x533

We all remember the horrible times from 2007-2010 with all that went on with the housing crises and stock market crash. Tons of people lost their homes, went broke, lost their jobs, and even committed suicide. This was all due to the major banks and loan officers, giving people bad loans no matter what their income situation was. After a little while, everyone started to default on their home loans and all of the banks failed, which forced the hardworking middle class people to bail them out with our own money.

Hey guys, Jana here,

The Big Short‘ comes from director Adam McKay, and if you’re familiar with his films and Will Ferrell, you know the two go hand in hand. ‘Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy‘ and the sequel, ‘Step Brothers‘, ‘Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby‘ and more, this project takes a departure from the funny and drops hip-deep into the dramatic.
