Hi everyone, Bryan here….

Geostorm is a new movie coming out from Warner Bros. that looks like every disaster movie mixed in with a presidential kidnapping with King Leonidas from 300, spartan kicking the weather down on Earth from his space station. I’m not kidding. This will either be the worst movie ever made or the best movie ever made. There will be no middle ground here.

The person sitting in the director’s chair is Dean Devlin, who is a writer/producer on the films; Universal Soldier, Stargate, both Independence Day movies, the horrible 1998 version of Godzilla, and Eight Legged Freaks. Geostorm marks his first directorial effort, which brings the old Hollywood proverb to life – “In Hollywood, you fail upwards.” I have no idea why the cast said yes to this, but Ed Harris, Jim Sturgess, Gerard Butler, Abbie Cornish, and Andy Garcia star in this movie.

This new trailer basically shows the whole movie, but I’ll give you a short synopsis. In the near future, scientists have come up with a device in space that can control the weather. If there is a bad hurricane about to hit a big city, this space station literally fires weird missiles into the storm and instantly, the storm breaks up and the sun shines. Something goes wrong somewhere and horrific weather pops up everywhere with hail the size of public buses, hundreds of tornadoes in area, tidal waves, and more. King Leonidas must head to space again to fix it. Also, the President of the USA looks to be a bad guy. Nobody will know for sure. I’m sure I’ll love-hate this movie, but I will definitely be there to tell you about it.

Enjoy the trailer.
