Dennis Villeneuve, the director for the Hugh Jackman vehicle, ‘Prisoners‘ and the Oscar nominated ‘Incendies‘, takes on the continuation of ‘Blade Runner‘. The film is set thirty years after the first film and stars Ryan Gosling. Harrison Ford is back, but he’s not the focal point of the film. Also appearing in the film are Ana de Armas, Jared Leto, Mackenzie Davis, Robin Wright and Dave Bautista.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.  October 6, 2017 is the arrival date, but check out the trailer until then.
