The ‘It‘ reboot is in full swing of things and we’d been given a peek at the titular monster a while back. Now, we get the full picture of Pennywise, aka Bill Skarsgard, in full costume. When you look at him, you can see the influences from different time periods in the costume, which makes sense as he’s an ancient terror that’s been eating children for centuries.

September 8, 2017 is just a little more than a year away then the film will bow and we can see Pennywise in action and a new generation will understand why my generation is afraid of clowns. Skarsgard out of costume is certainly nothing to be scared of. I’m not ashamed to say he was one of the main reasons I tuned in to Netflix’s ‘Hemlock Grove‘.

In the Town of Derry, the local kids are disappearing one by one, leaving behind torn body parts/remains. In a place known as ‘The Barrens’, a group of seven kids are united by their horrifying and strange encounters with a clown called Pennywise. Bill Denborough has a personal vendetta with the clown. 27 years after their last encounter with Pennywise, the ‘Losers Club’ has regrouped from their successful lives and businesses because IT has returned and kids are disappearing again. The only problem is that they have all forgotten what occurred that summer. It’s up to The Losers Club to regain their memories, to think of the key to killing Pennywise, and to stay alive long enough to end his tyranny but to also realise what brought them together in the first place.

Andrés Muschietti (Mama) will direct the project that brings together a dynamic cast consisting of Finn Wolfhard (‘Stranger Things‘), Jaeden Lieberher (‘St.Vincent‘), Nicholas Hamilton (‘The Dark Tower‘, ‘Captain Fantastic‘), the fairly unknown Sophia Lillis (‘37‘), Wyatt Olef (‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘), Jeremy Ray Taylor (‘42‘, ‘Ant-Man‘), Jack Grazer (‘Tales of Halloween‘), Chosen Jacobs (‘Hawaii Five-O‘), and Jake Sim (‘Raising Expectations‘, ‘Arthur‘). The above group of kids make up not only the Losers Club but the bullies that torture them.
