Dementia‘ touches on a topic that is a very real fear to anyone that’s had to deal with it. Is the live-in help you hire to care for a loved one going to take advantage of the situation somehow? Scream Factory and IFC Midnight  are bringing this psychological shocker, from director Mike Testin, to Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack May 17th.

A disabled war veteran is placed into less than safe hands when his family hires a live-in nurse to take care of the disabled war veteran. George (Gene JonesThe Hateful Eight‘) is an aging ex-soldier haunted by memories of Vietnam and struggling to reconnect with his estranged son and granddaughter. But when he suffers a stroke and is diagnosed with dementia, George is left in the care of Michelle (Kristina KlebeHalloween‘), a seemingly sweet nurse with a disturbing dark side.

At the mercy of a psychopath with a hypodermic needle, George becomes a prisoner in his own home, caught in a sadistic game of cat and mouse as brutal as anything he experienced in Vietnam. The tension builds to paramount heights until an explosion that will leave you breathless.
