Marvel has seen positive things from ‘Ant-Man‘ since it’s release in July, good enough to announce a sequel slated for July 6, 2018 titled ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp‘.

Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has added not only the Ant’s sequel, but three untitled films have been given release dates of May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020 and November 6, 2020. This addition in release dates will move around a few previously committed dates. ‘Black Panther‘ moves up to February 16, 2018 and ‘Captain Marvel‘ releases on March 8, 2019.

The sequel to ‘Ant Man‘ marks the first Marvel movie named after a heroine and will see Evangeline Lilly returning to the role of the Wasp while Paul Rudd’sAnt-Man‘ will show his tiny face on the big screen next in 2015’s ‘Captain America: Civil War‘.

The continuing trend makes it seem as though speculation that comic book movies are on the slip doesn’t appear to be the truth of it. Fans are still voting with their pocket-books over what they want to see on the big screen and as long as the money is there, the movies will follow.
