Director Gareth Edwards is filling out the cast for ‘Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One‘ and Diego Luna is in talks for a lead role next to previously announced cast-mates Felicity Jones and Riz Ahmed and Ben Mendelsohn who will chill the audience as the flick’s primary villain. Overall the cast will end up being a large emsemble.

In true ‘Star Wars‘ fashion we don’t know a lot about the plot but Edwards revealed it at a Star Wars Celebration convention. It revolves around a group of rebel fighters and their theft of the Death Star plans. The time line for this flick places it right between Episode III and Episode IV, in our time, the film is set to release on December 16, 2016.

Luna has had a solid presence in the film world, appearing in such films as ‘Milk‘, ‘The Terminal‘, ‘Elysium‘ and most recently in ‘Mr. Pig‘ where he writes and directs.
