Hey guys, Jana here,

Director Zack Snyder must have one hell of a poker face, at least it would appear so considering how close to the chest he’s holding his cards dealing with ‘Batman V Superman‘. Any news or photos from the project have been deftly released under Snyder’s instructions.

So far we’ve seen Ben Affleck’s Batman, Henry Cavill’s Superman, Wonder Woman embodied by Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, and now Snyder’s released the first pic of Jessie Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. He’s not the Eisenberg we’re used to, but he’s looking more Luthor like. Gone is the curly hair and with that the subtle smile that dances around the corners of his mouth. It’s now drawn taut in a chiseled-from-stone sort of way, the slight angles of his face have been elaborated and deliberately drawn out, creating a linear triangular shape to his face. In a word, he looks intense, it’s in the eyes.

Zack Snyder had this to say about Eisenberg’s Lex: “He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure, other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course. Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”

Credit for the photo belongs to Clay Enos. He’s been a working partner of Snyder’s since ‘Watchmen‘ and is the man behind the lens and responsible for delivering some of the most phenomenal photos of the director’s pivotal characters. ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice‘ opens March 25, 2016.

Movie Quotes

[the NSA team is watching satellite footage of a conversation between Dean and Brill on a rooftop]
Jones:
Can we get a feature scan of the guy with him?
Fiedler:
No, he's smart, he never looks up.
Jones:
So?
Fiedler:
The satellite is 155 miles above the Earth. It can only look straight down.
Jones:
That's a bit limited, isn't it?
Fiedler:
[Sarcastically] Well, maybe you should design a better one.
Jones:
Maybe I will.
