“SO SAY WE ALL!” Many of us are waiting for ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ to return from its break and now there’s a new reason for the anticipation. ‘Agent Carter‘ is definitely doing its part to keep our attention diverted from the fact that we have no new SHIELD episodes coming our way until March, but after learning that Edward James Olmos will be added to the cast all I can say is that the struggle to wait patiently is proving impossible!

Olmos is ingrained in my image as the tough as nails and determined teacher in ‘Stand and Deliver‘, you know, the one with a slacker Lou Diamond Phillips where he learns calculus instead of dropping out of school. Of course, he’s very well known for many other projects like ‘Miami Vice‘, ‘Selena‘ and ‘Battlestar Galactica‘, not the good one though. My Commander Adama is Lorne Green and Starbuck had a penis and Boxey existed with a daggit which was actually a monkey in a costume.

What’s even more exciting about Olmos coming to SHIELD is that his appearance as Robert Gonzalez will have massive repercussions for Director Coulson and his team. Something that can shake up the crew that bad is going to make for fantastic TV! March 3 can’t get here fast enough!
