Hi everyone, Bryan Here….

I can’t believe we have made it to 50 episodes. It’s been an excellent ride so far. For our 50th podcast, we had the entire crew in the studio, which is rare. Since it’s the end of the year and Christmas is almost here, we wanted to give you all our Best and Worst List for 2014. And we’re not talking about films here. We are talking about music, songs, television episodes, interviews, Blu-rays, and more. So we hope this list entices you to see, hear, or purchase whatever film or album you have been hearing about. And it’s quite interesting that a lot of our individual lists were quite different.  We had Susan Kamyab from This Chix Flix , Adam Conway from Angelika Film Center, Gadi Elkon from Selig Film News, Gwen Reyes from FreshFictionTV, and Andrew Conway. It was a lot of fun to say the least. And please let us know what you think by going to our FACEBOOK page and TWITTER page, which you should visit to catch up on all the latest information. And don’t forget to visit iTunes and Stitcher to subscribe to our podcast. Enjoy the show and see you in 2015! Thank you for listening.

  1. Worst Movie of 2014

This is tough for me because it is only fair for me to vote on movies I have seen, and there were a lot of stinkers that I avoided. That being said, LUCY got so sideways on the story at one point that it pulled me out and would not let me back in.

    Best Movies of 2014

    10. The Dog
    9. Chef
    8. John Wick
    7. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
    6. Edge of Tomorrow (Live. Die. Repeat.)
    5. Interstellar
    4. The Kill Team
    3. Life Itself
    2. The Overnighters
    1. Birdman

    Best TV of 2014

    True Detective
    Orphan Black – Season 2
    Silicon Valley
    Bob’s Burgers
    Sherlock – Series 3

    Best Albums of 2014

    Lazaretto – Jack White
Because the Internet – Childish Gambino
Lost on the River – The New Basement Tapes

  2. I am surprised that there is so much love for Guardians of the Galaxy, as it wasn’t even the best Marvel movie this year (nonetheless a Top 10 movie). I think most just get overwhelmed with Pratt’s charisma (he’s a charming MF’er). Pratt is likely this generations Harrison Ford… and while he is Han Solo, this isn’t Star Wars.

  3. Man, good call on Silicon Valley. Best boner jerk off joke ever. And I totally forgot about Sherlock. That would have been on mine too, hence I will be adding it.

Chef was good, but not great. I really liked Interstellar, but it didn’t even make my Top 25.

You and your Childish Gambino. Heh.

  4. I totally forgot to mention Kroll Show, Key & Peele and Inside Amy Schumer. They all really raised the bar for sketch comedy.
