Rebecca S., Here….

This year at Dallas Comic Con I (pictured above in the Tardis outfit) decided to try something I had never done before. Cosplay. I kept it simple, as I do not possess a sewing machine or any type of sewing skills, and purchased my costume. I was surprised to find that people treated me differently while dressed up than they did while I was just in a regular shirt. People were friendlier, and more talkative, especially about Doctor Who. It was fun to plan out the costume but mine didn’t hold a candle to a lot of the costumes out there. I plan on getting a sewing machine and stepping it up a notch for next year, and my son has said he wants to join in on the fun seeing all the other kids dressed up. Time to get planning… as inspiration here are some of my favorite cosplays from the weekend. Enjoy.
