This movie is high on my radar right now, and I’m sad that I missed it at last year’s ‘Fantastic Fest‘ in Austin. But good news is afoot, for this will be released next month, and it looks AMAZING. ‘Afflicted‘ looks like an insane horror movie that is shot in the ‘found footage’ style, with a little bit of ‘Chronicle‘ mixed in. Derek Lee and Clif Prowse wrote, directed, and star in this film, and follow three friends who take a fun trip around the world, when something terribly wrong happens to one of the friend with a seemingly sexual encounter with a foreign woman.

Official Synopsis: This terrifying horror thriller follows two best friends who set out on the trip of a lifetime around the world. Their journey, documented every step of the way, soon takes a dark and unexpected turn after an encounter with a beautiful woman in Paris leaves one of them mysteriously afflicted.
