A few indie horror-filmmakers lend a hand to this bloody, silly, fun B-movie flick ‘You’re Next‘. Director Adam Wingard doesn’t shy away from chopping faces or slitting throats here, and has cast horror-mates Joe Swanberg (V/H/S) and Ti West (The House of the Devil) in this blood-soaked romp. While it’s chaotic and stupid, this film still has a high splatter level and is very entertaining to keep horror fans talking. This is the perfect over-the-top horror film to jump-start the Halloween season.

This is the type of film where the characters do asinine things that make you think, “I guess they want to die.” But that’s what makes it so fun. The acting, script, and blood are all done to ridiculous levels, but that’s the point. It’s a fast, crude, and highly entertaining horror film. One that you’ll want to add to your collection for years to come. I mean, who doesn’t want to see a guy’s head chopped up by a smoothie blender?
