Hi, Bryan Here….
FX has just greenlit its first limited series, which will be ‘Fargo‘, which is based on Joel and Ethan Coen’s award winning film from the 90s. The Coen Bros will be executive producing the project and will be written by Noah Hawley. Hawley created ‘The Unusuals‘ and ‘My Generation‘. We’ve written about this before HERE, and then we knew that FX had secured a deal, but we did not know that project had a greenlight for a limited series.
Limited means that there will be a only a few episodes of this and that’s the end. Think HBO’s ‘John Adams‘. While that was a series, it was only a handful of episodes. I’m looking forward to this, and I can’t wait to learn what time frame this will all take place and if it will follow Frances McDormand as Marge Gunderson and her police work.
