Hi, Bryan Here….

The nominations came in this morning and needless to say, I went into a fit of rage.  I mean I was so mad, I almost wrote a letter.  After going through the list of nominees, while some of the noms were well deserved, many were not, especially in the FILM categories.  There needs to be a serious uprooting process at the Golden Globes where everyone involved in voting needs to be replaced by others who know what they’re doing.

I did not see ‘Beasts of the Southern Wild‘ or ‘Perks of Being a Wallflower‘ nominated for anything.  And that folks, is sick and asinine.  ‘Argo‘, ‘Zero Dark Thirty‘, ‘Life of Pi‘, and ‘Lincoln‘ do NOT deserve nominations for Best Film.  They don’t.  I’m very upset about these snubs as Beasts and Perks were two of the best films of the year.  Shame on you Golden Globes.  Shame on you. Hopefully the Oscars will have some better sense in them, but i highly doubt it. And the fact that ‘Lincoln‘ has the most nominations is goddamn ridiculous.

That being said, I was glad to see ‘Django Unchained‘ and ‘Moonrise Kingdom‘ getting nominations.
