Hi, Bryan Here….

It’s been way too long since the last Christopher Guest film.  Over six years in fact since ‘For Your Consideration’ made is laugh our asses off.  I’ve been wondering when we were going to be watching a brand new Christopher Guest improv film. It looks like sooner than later, our wildest dreams will come true with Guest’s new project, ‘Family Tree’.

Guest and his co-creator and writer, Jim Piddock have been working hard on ‘Family Tree’ which is and improvised genealogy comedy which follows a guy attempting to track down his whole family.  That guy will be played by Chris Dowd.  Dowd was the tall Irish cop in ‘Bridesmaids’.  Guest and Piddock want the series to be a half hour commercial-free series like ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ and is being shopped to HBO, Showtime, and Netflix at the moment.  No details yet on a more detailed plot synopsis or cast, but I’d expect the normal people to show up.
