Hi, Bryan Here….

CBS has given the “go ahead” on a new pilot called ‘Ralph Lamb’.  ‘Ralph Lamb is written by Nicholas Pileggi who famously wrote ‘Goodfellas’ and ‘Casino’.  Dennis Quaid is currently almost done negotiating to star in the series opposite Michael Chiklis (The Shield).  ‘Ralph Lamb’ will take place in the 60’s Las Vegas and be from the eyes of a sheriff (possibly Quaid).    That sheriff is Lamb
and was a former rodeo cowbow and became the sheriff for most of the 60’s and 70’s.  Chiklis will play the arch enemy gangster according to Vulture.

Director Sam Peckinpah went to the real life Lamb to tell him he wanted Clint Eastwood to play him in a movie on the silver screen, but that movie never came due to Peckinpah passing away.  Let it also be known that the real life Lamb never shot anyone during his almost twenty years on the force, but that didn’t stop him from getting violent with other means or weapons.

This sounds like a lot of fun and will be a really good show.  I love Chiklis.  He will be a great bad guy.  Your thoughts?
