I've only watched the first season of Supernatural, and there were two things that kept me from watching further: the writing and the acting. The writers had no idea how to build tension other than by having the two brothers yell at each other for no reason. And as with Smallville, if they were going to base their show in Kansas, they should have some idea of what that actually looks like. Perhaps my biggest disappointment comes from having named the main characters Sam and Dean and then not giving them an evil brother they didn't know about named Frank.

Just my two cents.

though i am disappointed with the fact that there are no extras worth purchasing this for and there are no special effects which actually require high definition, i would argue that "the prophecy" is a forgotten gem from the great days when i loved everything miramax, probably one of christopher walken's best roles, and pretty much the only reason that "supernatural" exists, and before i hear any "supernatural" bashing, it's one of the few good, violent, creepy, and continuous shows that we have today.
