Oren Peli, the mastermind behind Paranormal Activity, has penned a new untitled thriller for FilmNation to distribute. Brad Parker (The Diary of Lawson Oxford)  is set to direct. Peli and Brian Witten (Friday the 13th) are producing.

The story will follow a group of friends trapped in a deserted city just evacuated due to a nuclear accident. Nature begins to take over, and the friends think they are alone. As night falls, they find that they are very, very wrong.

The cast includes Jonathan Sadowski (Friday the 13th), Devin Kelley (The Chicago Code), and Jesse McCartney (Horton Hears a Who), among others that I’ve never heard of.

FilmNation will fully finance the project and handle international sales.
