Sony Pictures has just set August 2, 2013 as the date to release the sequel to their hit ‘The Smurfs’. This was of course going to happen since ‘Smurfs’ has been doing so well at the box office. It was neck and neck with ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ and has so far made over $130 million dollars worldwide. I really did enjoy the first film. Hank Azaria was amazing as Gargamel. Glad this is getting a sequel. Hopefully they keep the same flow and tone as they did with the first film.
