Hi Bryan Here…..

The HBO series ‘Hung’ Complete 2nd Season has just been announced for Blu-Ray and DVD for a release date of September 27th.  In its debut, Hung became a breakout hit and was declared “HBO’s best new comedy” by The New York Times.  The second season expertly built on this momentum “layering on even more heart, smarts and danger” (Red Eye), for a “fresher…more textured” (The Washington Post.com) making it one of the network’s most watched shows.

Now fans can catch up when Hung: The Complete Second Season comes to stores on September 27, 2011.  The two-disc DVD and Blu-ray Disc sets include all 10 episodes and bonus materials for the suggested retail price of $39.98 and $49.99 respectively.

Hung follows the travails of Ray Drecker, a well-endowed former high school sports legend turned middle-aged high school basketball coach.  In this season, Ray, and his unlikely pimp Tanya, have taken on slick “life coach” Lenore Bernard as co-pimp, devastating Tanya in the process. With Lenore pushing a debonair version of hooker Ray on her upscale clients, Tanya wants to prove she has the “right stuff” when it comes to being a successful – and far more ethical – pimp than Lenore. Meanwhile, Ray finds his feelings for his ex-wife Jessica rekindled.

Hung: The Complete Second Season on DVD and BD includes a host of entertaining bonus features including “Hung – Inside the Series” a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the second season, deleted scenes and five audio commentaries with series creators/executive producers Colette Burson and Dmitry Lipkin, co-executive producer/writer Angela Robinson and writers Brett C. Leonard, Julia Brownell and Kyle Peck.

The series stars Thomas Jane (The Punisher, *61 from HBO) as Ray Drecker and Jane Adams (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) as, Tanya Skagle, both of whom received Golden Globe® nominations for their roles; Anne Heche (Men in Trees) as Ray’s ex-wife, Jessica Haxon; Eddie Jemison (Ocean’s Thirteen) as Jessica’s successful husband Ronnie; Sianoa Smit-McPhee (As the Bell Rings) as Ray’s daughter Darby; and Charlie Saxton (The Lovely Bones) as Ray’s son Damon.
