Angelic Zombi Sinks her Teeth Into True Blood Season 4 Episode 5!!!

‘Me and the Devil’
Airdate 7/24/2011
True Blood episode “Me and the Devil”, while good in its own right, was clearly a filler episode. It moved and built up the many story lines that the show is working this season. On that note, it almost feels like the show is trying too hard to keep this many story lines going and keeping them interesting. The episode itself felt rushed and hurried. The transitions from scene to scene were abrupt and not what I’m used to when watching True Blood. Each scene basically gave us 5 minutes with each story line. It was a little on the frustrating side. It was like getting a massage five minutes at a time, when it starts to feel good it changes. But again as a whole I did enjoy the episode. Now on to a re-cap of the story lines!

Hi Bryan Here….
“1969 was a year unlike any other. Man first set foot on the moon. The New York Mets won the World Series against all odds. And for three days in the rural town of Bethel, New York, half a million people experienced the single most defining moment of their generation; a concert unprecedented in scope and influence, a coming together of people from all walks of life with a single common goal: Peace and music. They called it Woodstock. One year later, a landmark Oscar®-winning documentary captured the essence of the music, the electricity of the performances, and the experience of those who lived it. Newly remastered, the film features legendary performances by 17 best selling artists.” This set normally sells for $70.00, but is on sale for 63% off making it $25.99!!! This is a MUST OWN!!!
Bryan Takes on the Live Action ‘Smurfs’ Movie!!! (A Review)
by Gumbercules9000 on Jul 27th, 2011Hi Bryan Here….
There are not a lot of reviews yet for this movie, but the ones I have seen so far have not been good at all. I whole heartedly disagree with all of these critics. This ‘Smurfs’ movie was surprisingly a whole lot of fun, great, and funny. I was not expecting that at all. The mix between the CG and real world is amazing. And Hank Azaria’s performance as Gargamel is spectacular. He has proven once again he is one of the greatest character actors of our time. This movie will be fun for the whole family with everyone of every age enjoying it.
Bryan Sits Down With ‘Snowflower and the Secret Fan’!!! (A Review)
by Gumbercules9000 on Jul 27th, 2011Hi Bryan Here….
‘Snowflower and the Secret Fan’ is a film by Wayne Wang who is probably most known for his film ‘The Joy Luck Club’. Over the years Wang has directed movies such as ‘Smoke’, ‘Because of Winn-Dixie’, and ‘Maid in Manhattan’. These are a far cry from ‘Joy Luck Club’, ‘A Thousand Years of Good Prayers’ and his most recent ‘Snowflower and the Secret Fan’. I must say I am happy to see Wang return to the Chinese American storylines in his films. He does this effortlessly. ’Snowflower and the Secret Fan’ is based on the novel by Lisa See.

“La La La La La La! Smurf along with me!” Yes, The Smurfs are back in a HUGE way. With the release of the big Live Action Smurfs movie this summer, Warner Bros. has released this collection of Smurfs episodes on DVD. The set is called ‘The Smurfs: A Magical Smurf Adventure’ and contains ten glorious Smurf episodes from the 1980′s. It was really good to see these on DVD. They looked really looked really pristine.
