Hi Bryan Here….

Director/writer/actor/producer/editor Kevin Smith known for ‘Jersey Girl’, but mostly known for ‘Clerks’, ‘Mallrats’, and ‘Jay and Silent Bob’ is currently producing a new reality series for AMC that will be basically ‘Pawn Stars’ for comic book stores.

The series will be shot at Kevin’s own comic book store in Red Bank, NJ.  His store is called Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash.  A casting call was put up on Facebook today that said: “not looking for actors, he’s looking for real people who live and breath the comic book lifestyle. Must be funny outgoing and have a knowledge and passion for comics, superheroes, movie memorabilia and everything that goes with it not looking for actors, he’s looking for real people who live and breath the comic book lifestyle. Must be funny outgoing and have a knowledge and passion for comics, superheroes, movie memorabilia and everything that goes with it.”

I think this could be just badass.  I have always thought a comic book store meets Pawn Stars show would be GOLD.  Just think of the awkward funny moments that would come to fruition, and not to mention all the cool comics, toys, statues, and props that would come through the door.

Your thoughts??
