I can’t believe October is already here.  This year has been going by fast.

Well everone’s favorite social network Facebook is on top this week.

Aaron Sorkin’s “The Social Network” was #1 at the box office this weekend.  It brought in $23 million dollars.  It’s budget was double that.  So it has a ways to go.

Staying at the #2 spot this week is the cgi animated film “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole”.  It brought in almost $!1 million dollars bringing its two week total to at little of $30 million dollars.

The Wall Street sequel dropped from #1 to the #3 spot this week bringing in $10.1 million dollars for a combined two week total of $35.8 million dollars.

Ben Affleck’s “The Town” dropped down one spot to #4.  It brought in $10 million.

Easy A dropped down 1 spot as well to the #5 spot bringing in $7 million.

The Renee Zellweger thriller, “Case 39” opened up at the #7 spot bringing in only $5.3 million dollars.  The premise of this movie looks amazing, but I do not think it was marketed well.

The remake of one of the best vampire films EVER, “Let Me In” opened in at #8 bringing in $5.3 million dollars.  GO SEE THIS MOVIE.

For the first time since its opening, “Inception” drops out of the top 10 list and goes to #12.  It brought in less than 1 million dollars this week.  It is going on its 13th week in release.

That’s it for this time.  Stay tuned for next weekend.
